@SniPrsGeTMoHeD Basically EVs are Effort Values and are stat boosts that are gained upon beating specific pokemon. It can make a normally slow pokemon faster than other pokemon by EV training its speed. Smogon has a post on EV training in B/W. If you'd like a better description of what EVs are and what they do I would google it :P

you have a modest synchro munna dont you? which ability you get is up in the air, but you can scout which it is by using leach seed. or you can catch the nature you like with sychro munna, then breed using an everstone till u get the ability you want.

i didnt use ground in the elec gym. mostly scraggy (and scolipede a bit just for EVs)

@DamnHatter IK energy ball is a great special move, but i just personally prefer petal dance on liligant cus it can have own tempo. and after a quiver dance, you really dont have to worry too much anyway. plus its 2 or 3 powerful attacks for 1 pp. and no stat drop like on leaf storm, even though its slightly less powerful to start with

Why would the writers just out and out tell us that the Champion is Alder? Every generation prior to this was not so explicit in saying who was the champion. This gets the game a serious loss of points from me. It's good, but this storytelling sucks.

And anyway, you don't even have to battle him in the main story, you battle N and Ghetsis. Also N beat Alder so, doesn't that make him the champion in a way?

@iProfessorOAK Changing up the game was making the Champion less serious and angsty sounding like virtually every one before Alder. But the story outright saying only about halfway through the gym challenges that he's the champion ruins any character development we'd have for him. He could be just some trainer on a journey and not even speak up about being the champion. He could talk with Cheren about what a champion is and cheren would still want to pursue that goal. just seems too quick

But even before you know who the champion was in previous games, it was kind of obvious.

They would always have a Pokemon that stood out against others, or they would reoccur and not give any explanation of who they were, or what they do, so it was kind of a give away.

@iProfessorOAK and the whole champion thing seems a bit more complex than just getting beaten once and losing your position, though N loses to you and N beat Alder, so by all logic, you're the champion even before you fight the person that technically is the champion. But supposedly, being champion is more a title than something official in the world of pokemon. Not to mention it speaks to Alder's character that he's flawed and forgetful and happens to lose. Better than the previous champions
