I know that was a stunt double but that was an excellent fall down those stairs. I have really missed some great years with Viki -- 70's, 80's, and 90's. I love the way they wrote what Victor did to Victoria as a child. For her to split it would have to be something amazingly awful for her to deal with, and a father sexually abusing you would definately be it!
It's not after the death of Sloan - it's after he lied and told Viki that he wanted to marry Beverly after he came out of remission. What happens next is that she awakens to the real Clint - the only man who truly loved her!
This is the setup for Viki's DID's return after the death of Sloan. She is confusing Sloan and Victor in her mind. That is why you see both of them here in this clip. This was one of her recurring nightmares, where her subconscious is trying to tell her about Victor's sexual abuse of her as a child. The stair scenario is played out again later when she remembers the fall her mother took down the stairs before she died., and she watches from the bottom, a 7 year old child.
Right, and then she started having the exact same dream/flashback as it really happened, with Eugenia in her place, Victor in Sloan's place, and she as a little girl watching at the bottom of the stairs. Eugenia was pregnant and went into premature labor when she fell, she died giving birth to Meredith. Viki also started having a version of the dream with Victor and Dorian at the top of the stairs laughing at her.
Wish I had them on tape, but I just remember those episodes from when they first aired. Victor and Dorian didn't have much (if any) dialogue though, they more or less stood at the top of the stairs and mockingly laughed at Viki down below. There were also dreams where Victor kissed Viki full on the mouth!
Speakiing of past characters--Who does everyone think is the worst to deal with: Alex Olonov, Allison Perkins, Margret Cochrine or Tillie (from Statesville)
Alex eventually just became cartoonish and silly. Allison eventually became a real loon who ran off at the mouth a lot. Margaret was downright INSANE. Tillie was just mean. So, my vote is for Margaret C.
But I'll tell you one you forgot: Ursula Blackwell!!! Now, she was a true nightmare!
Great!! I love how you went down the list --you can see I made "femal villians" my theme. Ursula was just leaving the show as I started to watch. Was she really that evil--i noticed a lot of viwewers said she was...I wish i could have seen more of her
Oh, goodness she was a whack job! LOL Actually, there are several Ursula clips on here. Just put in "One Life to Live - Ursula" and it should pop up that way.
This was the start of viki breaking into 5 personalities (Jean, Tommy, Priincess, tori--and of course Niki) It was a subconscious of viki being the one who smothered her father (when she was "tori") Althogh her father came back in 2003--WTF?!!
I Hope Ron C rewrites that whole BS lol Victor Lord being alive! i had hope when Dorian and Viki talked in the cellar(asa's funeral) and dorian said something alluding to the fact that maybe that man wasnt really victor

This is January 1995, if not February,

This is all very effectively done, but sometimes I still wish they hadn't gone so far with Victor.

I know what you mean. I wish they had made it his brother, Powell. It's a shame to destroy a character like that.

I loved this era, the show hasn't been this good since.

I know!
Vicki & Sloan are representing Uguina (Viki's mom) & Victor(her father)
