Wow. I thought I was the only one who liked that game! Most Castlevania enthusiasts I hear from hated it. My only complaint was that the final four portrait stages were just recolors of previous stages instead of completely different designs like I had hoped. I really liked Order of Ecclesia personally. Maybe I would have liked Portrait more if it has Ecclesia's art style (Kojima's artwork) instead of the cartoony style that debuted in Dawn of Sorrow.

Man, I really do need to get around to getting this game to work. I heard a rumor that Frontier Aja themselves would be releasing an English patch, probably this month or October. I don't have a solid source, though, and I haven't heard very much in the past month.

And yeah, Marisa's hat is great. It kinda gives off a bounty/vampire hunter vibe. Van Hellsing, maybe?

Looks like a cool game, I like the summon thing and the art work, but the more I look at Cirno...the dumber she looks. I guess that does make sense in another way. :)
