Hartley H2 is 1.4 liter stroked Hayabusa engine and tuned to produce 200 bhp.

Same engine but more stroked to 1.5 liters is used in Radical SR3 producing 245 bhp.

These engines cost between 10,000 and 12,000 euros including gearbox with half-shafts.

Also Hartley offers 2.6 liter (old) V8, and newer 2.8 and 3.0 V8 engine made from 2 Hayabusa engines.

2.6 was produced 350-375 bhp @ 10,000 rpm, while 2.8 between 400-420 bhp. 3.0 is about 450 bhp. These engines cost from 25-30k€

Lotus are basically design by the british but with a toyota motor, i agree to put a k series in this car, the original 1.8 dont cut it... but since the japanees put toyota maybe it was a better idea you put a 2az intead... .4 litters more than that engine right you have right there, would of got more power out of it... But i bet you the original 1.8 with less litters has better internals than both of those engines..

Saved you more money and got more power.

That's a terrible idea, you would never get traction in any gear unless you drove around with huge slicks all the time. There comes a point where you have too much power and it's not even driveable/streetable. You wouldn't even be able to feel the car pull hard because the tires would just be spinning.  Sometimes less is more

a company makes 2.6L hayabusa-based engines. with no modification, in makes 355hp. would it fit? If u add twin turbos to it, it makes 700 hp. If u give it internals and boost it and tune it to the max it gives 1600hp. the power to weight ratio could be better than 1:1! But this is really cool too. 0-60 in under 3 seconds I'm guessing.(this car)
