darren would ramble and bring the podcast to a dead stop a lot....I think there may have been things going on behind the scenes too as most of the cast seemed pretty cold toward him. He seemed like a decent guy, but some people are just better writers than speakers.
Darren always falls back to dumb references and empty jokes... he was funny early on but quickly became a tool who interrupted shawns genius. also his over reaction from this is realllll rough, i just got to this episode (started at 1) and ugh... i dont know when he leaves but im waiting for it
I went back and listened to the first few CGW Radio episodes, Darren was on point with the jokes and comebacks. He took a backseat to Shawn's antics later, but before Shawn had developed his podcast persona, Darren was the funny one and was good at it.
Darren was a writer/editor of a magazine, and a damn good one. to judge a writer based on whether he' s a magnetic radio personality is ridiculous and unfair. i love all of these guys, what a fucking grade A team.
@redblugreenjello He was good. I still miss that podcast and all of those voices. Even as parts of other shows there was never quite the same chemistry.

@vtlynch92 He disappears a lot near the end of 2007, he announces his departure at the start of 2008. He was great at the beginning of the podcast.

I always kind of felt bad for Darren. He just wasn't as funny as everyone else, he didn't fit
