On Week 8 of this series when Sharon got fired, Sir Alan offered Syed immunity from getting fired early on in the boardroom sequence. However he turned it down and as the losing project manager put himself at risk of getting fired. That scene wasn't shown on the final edit.

Saira from series 1 and Syed were a lot like each. They were both very annoying, arrogant, dishonest, but amusing to watch. Paul Torrisi and Tre were also entertaining loose cannons, but they weren't out and out liars.
