For the ignorant few, the hack and slash game style was around long... long before God of War, Castlevania anyone? Everyone saying "Waaah, its copied God of War", GoW copied its predecessors, just like most games copy theirs. Neither game has anything unique to them that other games haven't already done and its just a matter of the same old game style with a different setting, story and graphical choice.

Do you even pay attention? Dante's Inferno has nothing to do with Sparta and the Roman gods. It's remnant of a poem by Dante Alighieri about his quest through the nine gates of hell to make up for his sins and return his love. I'm guessing you saw the first 10 seconds, witnessed some gameplay and judged accordingly right? Well that's just fine...but when Kratos carries a holy cross and a Scythe come inform me.
