Honestly, I think Steff is the most interesting character in the film - excellent treatment by James Spader. The more interesting love triangle is Blane/Steff/Andie.
For the life of me, I don't understand how the screening test audience could go for Andie and"Bland", Steff and Andie had a great onscreen chemistry.
Must've been a lot of fun for Spader playing that character
