  • ....how was stepfather??

  • I had a bigass backyard when I was a kid and I wasn't a ninja. I was a wizard (Yeah, try fire balls and turning people into frogs and shit)

  • Most depressing film EVER!!!

  • @wassonasonvegeta21 It was fucking melodramatic and I didn't like it. I didn't hate it but it wasn't good.

  • I honestly got that this kid had some mental issues from this movie. Hated that, man.

  • @FlyingFocs I KNOW! I wanted to strangle him.

  • i found you by searching "insidious reviews"

  • When you said the mom was "Fucking Mark Ruffalo" I thought you meant she was acting like Mark Ruffalo. but it turns out she was actually "Fucking Mark Ruffalo"

  • I really wanted to like this movie, but I didnt. when it ended, I asked myself, "what was the point of this movie"

  • Bananna Splits!

  • I guess I'm a jaded prick, this movie depressed me and made me sleepy.

  • the trailer creeped me the hell out.so i dont think i could watch it.

  • my dad used to read it to me all the time :)

  • I cried in this movie.... I'm not even joking

  • Well, psichologically, when a person "escapes" internally and builds a world around them, their problems DO continue to pleague them, because the problems are in the mind they are ecaping inside.....

  • you imagined you were a ninja, i imagined as a kid that I got raped by she-ra, but alas, i didn't know of the joys of masturbation, so i'd just rub my wee against me pillow until sleep.

  • I wasn't sure I wanted to see this before but now I totally do. Thank you.

  • You're gay. The movie sucks ass.

  • dude im so glad you feel the same way about this film. everything you said is exactly what i think of this film

  • I had it read to me when I was 5... don't remember it, lol.

  • I'd love to have seen that kid crying :P

  • Fuck Ritalin

  • Thats cool how you added the Bannana splits.

  • omg ur always spot on! like your in my fuckin head!

i loved this movie.. oddly it's one of my favorites (:

  • ha, lol. and the ending will *touch* you XD

  • "I'm not fucking around" for the win!

    great review. :D

  • haha great review jeremy, keep up thee good work =)

  • bravo, man, just bravo

  • I remember the first time I saw the trailer, my first thought was "Those things are fuckin creepy looking." And all my friends were like "Shut up! They do not!!!" Kudos for Banana Splits and Fuck Ritalin. Lmao.

  • To be fair, I think in the book, they looked creepy too.

  • It's been a while Jeremy. What is your profession in the real world? Just curious. Anyway, solid review. I'm surprised you enjoyed it. I enjoyed it myself, despite some peculiar elements. Oh and you are really messing with my mind because for my latest review I went full on Jeremy with my analogy lol. Keep up the awesome work man.

  • I must admit, I was sceptical when I heard this movie was being made. It's one thing for the Wizard of Oz, being a whole series of books that the movie can be drawn from, but a kid's book that was maybe 30 pages of mostly pictures and a splattering of words, I think severe creative liberties would be taken to fill the time of a movie. But so far the vast majority of reviews I've heard have been positive.

I think perhaps I will see this movie, but Zombie Nation is still first on my list.

  • OMG! Sid & Marty Krofft would have been perfect for this project. LOL!

Seriously, I hate the book (I know I'm one of the few who do) but the first thing I thought of when I saw the trailer was H.R. Puffenstuff. Great review!!

  • That as always jeremy was a GENIUS review same with paranormal activity i really thought you were gonna blast this movie to hell like you did with transformers 2. But all in all GENIUS. i will be on the look out for your review of THE STEPFATHER

  • Awesome, awesome one Jeremy! I was a bit afraid what you'd do to this one... There seem to be lots of "jaded pricks" out there hating on this one. I'm so glad you liked it. We (ages 7 to 65) all LOVED it!

By the way, Max may be able to spell "fuck" but not "around" I don't think...

  • Dude!! Bonus points for the Banana Splits reference!

  • My inner child had a chainsaw, my inner adult only had a fork, anyway you see that playing out I am 21 and I have only been reading comics for a year now.

  • As always, funny shit Jeremy. I read the book as a kid and I'm definately going to go see it.
