I'm not too sure, I just had a look and I think you may need an adapter. If you go onto Apples online store you can sometimes chat to someone and hopefully they will know.

They have been with Intel for years, they are just phasing out older models with new software like most companies do. You can't always cater to the oldest model.

What a fabulous video. Omg new iPods, I've heard many rumors what theyr gonna look like. omg I want one. I have so many iTunes goodies that I can't even a track on them. The U2iPod colors were nice, the "mirror" is always A+ on the back. Very nice. Umm then uu rumor about iTunes 9. wou! My Snow Leopard arrives this week. Dare I gues already monday, I hope so. Nice summary for SL for £25 its a fair price seeing as its not that different but has some nice features.

I have both PC and Mac and hate the whole comparison idea, I use them differently. I like the new Areo shake feature of W7 for clearing up the clutter.

Safari may have got the idea of frequently used sites from Opera 9 but made it more visual like cover view on ipod.

Apple is very good at making things look 'nice' I will stick with 10.5 ftm as I am still undecided on SL.

I've had SL for a week now, I'm convinced mine is a bit slower now. Quicktime X is better, however I was gutted that I couldn't import the screen capture into FCE.

Finder/Spotlight/Expose improvements are ace.

I've had Safari 4 for a while now and love it.

Yea I had a problem with screen capture too, I had to import it into iMovie and export it out and then it worked.

Did you do an upgrade or a fresh install of SL? Sometimes they can be a bit slower on upgrades though the upgrade I did on my MacBook is fine and the fresh install on my Mac Pro is just stupid quick :P

This is a perfect summary of SL though I noticed something in wireless selection. When connecting to a network it kinda night rider scrolls up and down the signal meter which makes me Laugh ^^ and it also tells you if the network you're connected to has no internet connectivity.

Yea I noticed that too, it's good to see that it is doing something. Also in the selection it shows you the strength of each network in the drop down.

But they'll charge for Windows 7, which is set to focus on improving the architecture instead of delivering new features - just like Snow Leopard does.

Agreed. I have the final version of 7 on one of my Windows machines and other than the huge speed increase and a few networking features there isn't much difference to be found.

I still think MS Are gonna be charging a shed load more for 7 than is being charged for Snow Leopard but then again haven't they always?

Windows generally costs more as they don't have overpriced hardware tied to it. Apple can recoup development costs from the huge mark-up on Mac's, Windows relies on OEM and retail box sales.

£65 for Windows 7 is very reasonable considering :)

But if you already have the hardware, £25 for an upgrade vs £65 is a no-brainer, especially given the amount you have to spend on virus software and maintenance costs with PCs vs Macs.

I never use an anti-virus. You only can get one really by illegally downloading. The money they save from the pirated software can go into there anti virus software.

I got pre ordered full retail of Windows 7, Home Premium = £44 and Pro for £88.

Windows 7 is a hell of a lot better than Vista and works better than even XP. The price of SL is a great thing though but its cos the hardware is SO expencive to start

There are no architecture changes in windows 7, just wddm has went from 1.0 to 1.1 and some other upgrades. Its more about building whats ontop of the kernel.
