  • i come back to this vid a year later, and somebody gave me a thumbs down?! When I said "Yep.. it is" I was referring to the fact that Harper Lee's book did say that it is a sin to kill a mockingbird.

  • I know of a beloved person that died and he always talked about Mocking birds and how one was close to his house. On his one year death date anniversary I watched a mockingbird singing on top of the Church's cross, and I am positive it was a sign from above about the beloved who died. True story.

  • I left something to cook on the stove. It was late at night. A mockingbird was screaming or singing very intensively and I felt an urging to get up, and went to the kitchen, and my saucepan was burning. After, I went to bed, the bird stopped his song. I am greatful to God and that bird for saving my life. Sir, when the bird stops singing completely in civilization that means man will be next. My words of are advice it is better to hear the bird, than a rock concert or some grating music. Peace.

  • while i'm sure the shrieking would be certainly enough to drive people insane, the soft and sometimes cheerful song of the northern mockingbird was able to pull me out of a long bout with depression and even helped me out when i was suffering a severe migraine.

  • yep... it is.
