Then go to the Kings base and ask the king about the robotic dog sitting next to him. do the quest for the dog and they will like u. (u might need to gain the Kings trust first.)

Actually, to get the Pimp Boy you can also just kill all the Omerta's, so you don't have to side with them, just finish the quests "The House Always Wins IV" and "How little we know".
