By the way, the EAS is activated by code usually with the office of emergency manangement. Like a relay if you will. Then they will trigger the EAS system and those codes can only be broadcasted, the by usual OEM, Local or Federal Law Enforcement, FEMA, The President, DOD or the NOAA. Thank you. This was all in sync and those same codes if done right, will trigger the sirens along with the EAS and the EAS will override broadcasters as mandated by federal law.

Alot of my friends are skeptical because you happen to have a video camera setup during the whole thing, and you mentioned in a comment that you had to do something with a voice generator, yet no one knows how you were able to ge the tv to display the info and the siren to go off outside.

Now that is more like what Oceanside's siren sounds like. However, I believe that Oregon uses a steady "alert" tone for tsunami warnings.
