  • Coach made us do this play in High school Lol It worked O_O

  • UAT CRIMSON TURDS!!!

  • I really hate Alabama.

  • @GileadsGun me to

  • Julio Jones is going to have one damn good career in the NFL.

  • HOW DO YOU DO !!!

  • Beautiful quality! And a nice video too!

  • @xlBreeZzy The throw was fine. So what if it's a little behind. Not every throw is gonna be perfect. Quit being an anti-Alabama freak.

You should look at some of Greg McElroy's highlights, he's actually one of the most accurate QBs I've ever seen

  • Hi

  • That might have been the only time Terry Grant touched the ball all year

  • @bankstasmusic That would make an excellent TV show.

  • it wasn't caught in stride...good play though

  • Because he had to turn around for the catch and that almost got him tackled if he throw it a but infront he would if been untouched

  • What do u mean bad throw???????

  • bad throw

  • @nigahiga HI!

  • Comment removed

  • @schottab140 Its not a forward pass. The forward motion it caused by 29 taking it from his hands, not 32 giving it off. And BTW, I'm an Arkansas fan, I just believe in making the right call even if it hurts.

  • meh not that good.

  • nice quality video

  • Why is 12 not a QB?

  • @jaegog53 cuz he plays for the pro's now

  • @jaegog53 He was the QB. It was part of the trick play.

  • @jaegog53 he is lol

  • @jaegog53 Because the offense was lining up in wildcat, where the QB lines up as a wide reciever.

  • what a terrible pass.

  • @xlBreeZzy He's so fucking open that there's no point in leading him, you just throw it up in the air to him so there's the least possible chance of him dropping it

  • @scottab140

U can do more than one pass per down but if the ball goes past the line of scrimmage you cant pass anymore my team has 2 qb we snap to qb 1 who passes to qb 2 who passes to our best wr u retard get football right

  • @moneyman4759 incorrect. You cannot pass more than once if it is a forwards throw. Even if the forward throw results with the ball behind the line, you can't pass anymore. However, the play in the video is indeed legal.

  • One thing I always wonder is why don't they man up on the QB on a wildcat with the worst cornerback they have and just follow the QB like a dog. If they did that then the play would've been destroyed right on the spot with their loss of yards. That cornerback stayed back like a dumb cb would've done. And if you wonder "what if they are in zone coverage?" then I could tell ya what to do! d:

  • how is dat a tric play?

  • Dang I miss Julio and Greg Mac

  • roll tide ha ha waltz in he was like get off me

  • "when is julio jones gonna get the ball again" they definitely let him in on that one;)

  • how often do you see a non QB throw a big pass. its a trick play dum dum

  • @TetraFlame4 12 is the quarterback. wake upppp

  • @TetraFlame4 Non QB? That was the QB throwing the pass.

  • Thts not really a trick play but it was funny

  • ROLL TIDE

  • That was a terrible throw, Julio had a full lunch waiting for the ball

  • @WillMorebucks it wasnt terrible

  • julio jones injury

  • RRRROOOOOLLLLL TIIIDDEEEEEE

  • 2 Auburn fans watched this video

  • Great job by the o-line. No one ever notices their accomplishments...

  • i hate boby pitrino ever since he left Louisville so ROLL TIDE

  • how do u do?

  • What's Jones doing after he breaks that tackle? That little high-stepping dance maneuver. Not being a dick, I don't play football and am mmaaadd curious haha

  • @alirzb2 I dont play football too haha but I guess thats preventing his opponent from holding his feet since the one who tackled him was down

  • Where's Forrest Gump?!

  • Alabama: Great team, fucking dumb mascot

  • he did it against 9 freshman on defense you bama tards

  • roll tide

  • props to #5 for seeing the play immediately and going straight for the receiver.

  • I agree with musik4lifeandlonger it's just a flee flicker no trick play

  • cool but where is the trick play ^^ its only a long pass by the QB

  • actually julio jones was given the broken collar bone by denarius wright. ( who plays for arkansas)

  • did anyone else no that greg mcelory or however u spell his last name is on the New York Jets? i didnt..

  • SACK(Elroy) suck! Ball clearly under thrown. Why did Rex Ryan get this guy? And he SUCKS under pressure. He either throw a pick or fumbles.

  • @MrAUFANATIC Why the hell are you watching this? I think we all know he wasn't good under pressure. Go watch Michael Dyer's run.

  • @MrAUFANATIC He threw a whole 3 pics last year, i Mean, he is horrible, 25 to 3 touchdown ratio is HORIBLE!!!!!! You know fucking nothing about football.

  • @YOURDOOM1996 He relied on a great running game and doesn't have to do anything spectacular or take any risks.

  • All the Alabama football clips I have watched came from this game. I don't recall embarrassing them that badly this year. Sheeesshh.

  • Roll Tide Roll, motherfuckers!

  • That was a terrible throw haha

  • @JTara20 ...but it was a beautiful catch!

  • @tiagansa Haha that play would've been perfect if he led Julio though, you know?

  • Ugh, I'm a Penn State fan but you stopped the video right before the CBS college football theme song.

  • U can't get better than that

  • 2 observations.

    1) This is an illegal play. There are 2 forward passes. First from a forward hand-off which is a pass and then the second one is obviously the throw down field.

    2) #5 is a horrible safety. Not only does he blow coverage by running around in a 360 circle at the 1:15 mark but then he doesn't make the tackle either.

Do Arkansas fans not watch Youtube? I would figure they would be all over this.

  • @scottab140 I can't remember what the rule book actually states anymore but I was also under the impression that you were not allowed to throw a forward pass after a forward hand off, but, I've seen it done numerous times and never ever called. At that point, I figured I was wrong.

  • Comment removed

  • @scottab140 1. that wasn't an illegal play. besides the fact that they were clearly and hand off and a reverse lateral, the ball never moved past the line of scrimmage until the pass to jones; 2. there i'll agree with ya.

  • @lovethatdirtywater1 A forward handoff is a pass. The rule book defines a pass as: "a forward pass is when the ball is thrown in the direction that the offensive team is trying to move, towards the defensive team's goal line."

The ball was clearly set in motion FORWARD, making it a pass.

  • @scottab140 1.the rule book also states that if the ball is behind the line of scrimmage u can throw it still, and 2., am i the only one that noticed u put "A forward HANDOFF is a pass. The rule book defines a pass as: 'a forward pass is when the ball is THROWN in the direction that the offensive team is trying to move, towards the defensive team's goal line.'"

Uhh...I dont think a handoff is a throw

  • @scottab140 I would love to see you try and tackle Julio Jones.

  • @bankstasmusic I am not a safety for a D-1 school. Julio is a big and strong guy so if I had to try to tackle him, I would aim to take out his legs. In regards to safety play, I am smart enough to not allow the opposing player to get behind me. Your number one responsibility in being a safety is not to allow the opposing player to get behind you! That is something that #5 did not do.

  • @bankstasmusic key word there TRY...LOL

  • @scottab140 great peewee football observation sir!

  • @scottab140 As long as the ball doesn't pass the line of scirmmage you are fine to pass it, I am pretty sure no matter who you are, and it is tough to talk Julio Jones, and he was coming up to play the run, figuring he thought Julio Jones was going out to block somebody in the secondary.

  • @Simitachi First of all, if a QB throws the ball and it is batted up in the air by a lineman and the QB catches the ball, he cannot throw it again. Only 1 pass per down so you are incorrect about the ball not passing the line of scrimmage. Seconds of all, a safety's #1 priority is to prevent anyone from getting behind him, that is why they usually play 15 yards off the line of scrimmage and they are playing a 5-3 defense so he is the last person of last resort... FYI, replay the play again.

  • @scottab140 Okay, I understand there, but actually this play is a hand-off and a lateral, which both allow for the player that received these, to pass. And the safety is also supposed to come up and play the run also, which is what it showed as. It isn't the safety's fault, it is just a very impressive play done by Alabama. Cause if it was a run and he waited for the RB to cross the line of scrimmage, then by the time he got there, the guy would have been 10 yards down field.

  • @Simitachi, My friend, any movement of the pass forward is the definition of a pass. Look at shuffle pass. ;) The play, once again goes: forward pass, hand off, then another forward pass down the field. Google for·ward pass for the definition. The Arkansas's is a 5-3 with the 2 other guys being CB's and the last guy being a Safety. When you play 10 guys at the line of scrimmage and 1 safety, the safety always as deep coverage and the other 8-10 guys are responsible for the run, not the safety.

  • @scottab140 Ah ok, I see where you aer coming from with the safety responibilities but the initial "pass" is a hand-off, it is not in the air without a player touching it at any point until the lateral to the QB.

  • @Simitachi @Scottab140 ya and the ball can also be used as a hat :)

  • @ThePostEdit Exactly! See! He understands!

  • @scottab140: Actually you're mistaken. The passing rules are not relative to the position of the body, they're relative to the movement of the ball. Ingram's hand off to Grant is not a forward pass for the same reason a lateral isn't: because the ball didn't advance toward the goal line.

When Grant takes the hand off he is moving perpendicular to the line of scrimmage and thus the movement of the ball was to the sideline, not the goal line.

  • @scottab140: Also per the rules: "No player may hand the ball forward except during a scrimmage down as follows: a. A Team A player who is behind his scrimmage line may hand the ball forward to a backfield teammate who is also behind that line."

So both apply here, the play is legal.

  • @scottab140 Where the hell do you see the first "forward pass" thats a fucking hand-off you dipshit, after that it's called a pitch then the pass. God damn trolls get more fucking stupid with each passing day.

  • @scottab140 where do you see a forward pass?

  • julio jones reminds me a lot of larry fitzgerald without the amazing hands

  • Buck Fama!

  • perfect quality! :-)

  • All this talk about Gus and the Wildcat. The fact is, the wildcat formation was invented a long time ago. But it wasn't as popular until Gus ran it at Shiloh Christian in his high school coaching days, then he went to Arkansas. One of Gus's asst there had remembered or kept the play and took it to Miami with him then that's when the play had gained a lot of publicity. Why do people refer Auburn offense as a high school gimmicky offense? Because he will try everything, and it always works.

  • "How do you do"

  • Roll Tide! :-)

  • @rkwilkerson Julio,my good man,is a beast and can he not get tackled, but he can run lol right

  • great quality videos

  • @95weagle even if what you said is true,,it would only be considered auburns offense as long as gus is there,,so acually it would be ""gus malzahn offense"" But like I said,,Gus isnt doing anything that has not been done before

  • @95weagle ok,,if that makes you feel better but its not the TRUTH

  • @95weagle that may be what ""they" said,,but the FACT still remains that the wildcat and no huddle offense is nothing new,,and has been used way before auburn or gus malzahn did.

  • @95weagle you must not have read all my comments. because in case you didnt know it,,and obviously you dont,,Auburn and Gus Malzahn did NOT invent this offense. In FACT,, it was invented long ago and has been used WAY before Auburn or Gus used it! So as I said,,,NOBODY wants to copy anything Auburn does....its the other way around!!

  • amazing how AU fans will kick and scream and cry to make their points be heard, no matter how bad the facts are against them. AU has 3 national championships and AL has 13. AL has won many more games than AU, probation or not. There is nothing anyone can say to make Auburn's history match Alabama's. Alabama has accomplished many more things than Auburn has. Accept it.

  • This play was being ran 20 years before any of Suck Auburn's coaches were born. Dear God, you win a Nat Champ to get your overall total to 1 1/2 and your entire fan base is borderline orgasmic ever since? Down boy. Enjoy the 7-5 seasons for the next decade and getting everything from 2010 stripped away.

  • Dang I'm gonna miss Julio!!!

  • Taking pages right out of Auburn's playbook (even though this sucked compared to Malzahn's offense). Copying Auburn is what the little fags in Tuscalooser do best!

  • @AuburnTigerz69 This was before Auburn ran it.

  • @soup1322 Are you really that dumb? GUS MALZAHN WAS AT AUBURN THIS SAME YEAR! He runs the same offense but do what y'all do and try to be like Auburn always.

  • @AuburnTigerz69 Are you serious? If anything Auburn copied it from someone eles. Nice try though. (:

  • @RollTideRolll32 And I notice y'all didn't start doing it until WE DID! LIke always you wanna be like us. Sadly YOU CAN'T AND IT SUCKS TO BE A CRIMSON FAG FAN HAHAHA!!

  • @AuburnTigerz69 Really? And when did Auburn start doing this? I guess every team in the NCAA copied Auburn. And please tell me, why would any alabama fan want to be an Auburn fan? We have 13 national championships and y'all have 2!

  • @RollTideRolll32 Dude stfu. You do not know what you're talking about. When Gus was at Arkansas he ran the wildcat with Darren McFadden. Then one of Gus's assistant who left and went to Miami and had used it there with Ronnie Brown. Of course the Wildcat is old. But Gus somewhat re invented it at Arkansas. Then when it came back it got popular. And when Alabama started doing reverses? Oh yeah I remember when Auburn tricked them out their shoes at Jordan Hare in the '09 season with 2 of them.

  • @AuburnTigerz69 actually auburn coppied this play from Alabama. You auburn fans are such a joke1

  • @cherokeedoll1 No Fuck!!!!!! U must forgot who re-invented the Wildcat. Gus did and look who's running it now? Old Satan

  • @MrAUFANATIC It was invented by Billy Ford and Ryan Wilson many many years ago. And Gus didnt re-invent anything at auburn. Gus got it from somebody else so stop acting like anyone would want to copy anything auburn does when they cant even win a national championship right!

  • @cherokeedoll1 What did you NOT understand when I said that he "RE INVENTED IT". And yes he did when he was at Arkansas. And one of his asst's went to Miami Dolphins and every since then it is now a formation in every coach's playbook.

  • @cherokeedoll1 MALZAHN ORIGINATED THIS OFFENSE! What would you know cause you belong in the kitchen. Not on youtube talking football.

  • @AuburnTigerz69 In the kitchen ? lol... Is that how you auburn men treat your women ? No, Gus is not the first person to run a hurry up offense,,nor is he the first to run the wildcat. But if it makes you feel to better to say that he did then go ahead and think it.. say it...but that doesnt make it true.

  • @AuburnTigerz69 your dreaming with this comment. Alabama has never and never will need to take anything from the second rate school in this state. Auburn can only dream about being as good as Albama is,,but that will never happen. Even after winning the NC this past season,,auburn still cant gain the ammount of respect from the national sports media as Alabama has,,Actually, they cant get any respect at all! Auburn will never measure up to Alabamas greatness,,Never has and never will

  • This play sucked. The ball was clearly underthrown. They copied this play from Auburn. Arkansas D sucked..........BOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!

  • RTR

  • Im glad he's not at bama any more, means Penn State has an actual chance against them in september.

  • @InsayneDaRoss NAH Now you have trent richardson, dee hart, eddie lacey, keiwone malone, brandon gibson, and our defense.... .RTR

  • beautiful.....

  • wow awful tackle attempt just jump on his legs 4 fuck sakes

  • @Sh00t1stAskLater Arkansas...

  • RTRDED

  • It was a shit throw but what the hell does it matter?

  • I love watching defenders try to arm tackle Julio! B-E-A-S-T!!

  • Needs to be in NCAA 12 :D

  • @TheGameTrent22 HELL YEAH!!!! WITH A REVERSE TOO, THE FLEA FLICKERS IS GETTING TOO OLD

  • Gangsta

  • Alabama, how i love theee.(:

  • @AuburnBoi4Lyfe Someone getting a little mad? And i was there too. (: I thought it was a pretty good game, i mean, it was on of Cam Newtons worst games. I actually think it was the worst. Wait, no that would have been the National Championship game. And I was there in 2009, where Auburn lost to the National Champs by 5 points, not one. (;

  • @AuburnBoi4Lyfe Fyi, Julio was already turned like that before he even threw it, i was at the game. It was a great throw!

  • @AuburnBoi4Lyfe Seriously? That ball was a PERFECT throw. We all know you would never be able to make that throw. Kay thanks. (:

  • What the heck. Why don't we do stuff like this anymore?

  • @Jakechinnius Because our offensive coordinator doesn't like to use things that work

  • South Carolina has a beatin' comin' to 'em!!!

  • he was 100% wide open roll tide we blow them off oh yea

  • @cosMicgaming12: you blow them off?

    that's kinda gay dude...

  • ROLL TIDE!

  • mcelroy hasnt lost a game since what 8th grade or something. thats just amazing

  • @extremesowhat

playing for a stacked team like alabama might have had a little something to do with that.

  • @chefawkes Im not even a bama or auburn fan but he moves the chains he doesnt really have alot of arm strength so I dont think he will be a franchise QB in the NFL but he is real smart and the boy moves the chains

  • @Azicpok1

his job is basically not to screw up. i agree mcelroy does a superb job at that.

  • They mad

  • Bring on those piggies!!!

    Nearly game time......rolllllll tide!!

  • @meankookoo Considering Julio Jones had to stop...and catch the ball when he only threw it 30 yards..

  • Cold chills

  • Mcelroy has a terrible arm.

  • @mrhogfan14 McElroy doesn't have a bad arm. He doesn't have a Ryan Mallet arm, but McElroy isn't even going pro; he's a Rhodes Scholar.

  • @milestide25 Good for him because he wouldnt make it in the NFl.

  • @mrhogfan14 how do you figure? John's last season with Bama Greg went out and threw a better long bomb then John ever did. and Greg put that ball on the money. he may not have the BEST arm.. but he has a good arm on him. his problem has been his freshman year he didnt have confidence to throw it. look at him this year. (2010) Alabama is going for another BCS NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP.. and if you dont agree.. Fuck you.

  • @sandymitchellhadley. Greg McElroy isnt even going into the NFL. Hes garbage if you guys didnt have Ingram or Richardson and you had to rely on him you would be sayin something completely different. McElroy has nothing to do with your success. and I do disagree with you but I'm not gonna take you up on that offer. I guess thats how they ROLL in Alabama.

  • @mrhogfan14 thats why he kept their season alive against auburn. im not the biggest fan of alabama but they are a great team. if they had a different qb i promise their success wouldn't be better cause mcelroy makes good decisions he rarelt throws picks. get your facts straight man.

  • @TIDE256 "their" ya go. Typical Alabama fan. Learn English.

  • every time an announcer calls Julio's name in a game he gets the ball and makes a big play, i say they should call his name before every play LOL.

  • Poor #5 for the Razorbacks. Look at his expression at the :32 mark of this clip.

Now check out his same expression after the Trent Richardson's run.

Some days it just doesn't pay to put on that uniform - classic!

  • damn dude... great vid! Clear as a.... crystal ball! :D

  • Thank you 4 keeping the title in the SEC

  • anybody else notice how fast julio got down the field??

  • Is it just me or does it always seem that when an announcer says something like "This player hasn't caught a touch down pass in X amount of games." or "This team hasn't allowed a sack in X amount of games." than that is exactly what happens the next play LOL

  • Yeah! in the bcs game. the guy was like Alabama havent had a sack all game and then BAM!! Sack & fumble

  • Announcers say those kinds of things all the time to seem attentive, but you only notice it when it actually happens.

  • it's called the commentator jinx.... it happens time and again...

  • Badly underthrown ball by McElroy.

  • You're right. Julio had to stop and turn his whole body around to catch it. If McElroy threw it over Julio's shoulder (which he was supposed to do) he wouldn't have needed to break the tackle. He would have already scored. it doesn't matter though. It was still a nice play. I just wish that they threw him the ball A LOT more.
