this technique is more useful when making vectors and it would be made in illustrator lol but i suppose it can be used for simple images like that but it wastes a lot of time

if i am extracting an image from its background and i want to bring the extracted photoshop image into illustrator, what format do i have to save the photoshop extracted image as?

And also i want the photoshop extracted image to have a translucent background but the background is white when i bring it into illustrator....... what am i doing wrong????? HELPPPPPP!

its normal when you bring in illustrator,

just use magic eraser tool and save the transparent image in PNG.
