sell that shit on greglist and get Infinity Primus.. i got those speakers running on my avr 591 and sounds amazing.. i paid 479 for the avr and 999 for the primus.. thats canadian prices.. in united states u get this shit half price.. and lets not forget i pay 15% tax!! Get the hdmi wires off ebay for like 2.99$ from hongkong.. good luck upload new video once u get the new setup..
@edyman87 Yep trying to actually sell them right now. I saw the Primus at my retail store but all they had were open boxes and all the drivers were damaged. I had just recently bought a pair of KEF iQ10s but had returned them due to a shortage of money, but I think I want a full set of the Classic KEF series and maybe I'll trade my Denon for a Marantz, but as for right now I don't have a job so I'm gonna stick with these until I sell them.
Are you joking me when u said u don't play sound throw hdmi.. WTF are u thinking.. I just gave my yamaha htr6230 away to buy this and audio through hdmi sound awesome .. Plus this receiver only have one optical input..well my avr 591 does..
@edyman87 Yeah I think I had it set up wrong. I only had the PS3 transferring sound through optical since it discovered it as a audio source, but I was short an HDMI cable so I just use optical now. Funny how yours only has one when my has 2 optical inputs.
actualy a 500 dollar amp aint that bad i mean look at the onkyo tx sr 608 if in 5.1 u kan get 125wpc and buy an amp asside it it has all fetures one needs i mean tht in my opinion im gettin mine soon and polk are some awsome speakers dough his are kinda far bakk in the chart its still a good company! ill post my home theater once i get everything or well while im in the process of buyin it! =]
@northsideplayer31 Yeah the amps is not bad and so are the speakers, but my amp is only pushing out 75 watts per channel which is pretty low and I need more in order to feel the true performance. Hope to see your system soon. Thanks for the Comment.
You got polk audio speakers, and your powering them with a $500 denon receiver? And using sony rear speakers? You should have got yourself a better amp because buying wicked Polk Audio speakers and powering them with an okay amp will not do you any good. You should have bought a much better amplifier.
@yugyug9 Actually the amp only retails for $300. Now I have switched the rear speakers from the Polk Audio RM 6750 5.1 set. I currently still have those Polk's in the from, I got the Polk's for dirt cheap from Fry's so I didn't think about the amp, but the retail on the Polk's are more the the amp itself, but now I am letting the Polk's go since I am thinking about some other system. All I've got are starter and okay amps. Onkyo SR-502 & used to have Sony STR-DG510.
I just replaced my tv with an 46 Hitachi Ultravision LCD 120hz and damn is it great. That thing has 8 hd inputs. A great tv for someone who wants a massive setup. Samsclub has the 42" for $747, 46" for $898, and the 55" for $1398.
@bkd2117 Cool, Good price for that size and brand. Trying to find another Hitachi but they are pretty hard to find here. Too bad we don't have a Sam's Club. Any chance you got a video or the model?
ihave a 63" DLP tv in my home theater a ps3 a yamaha reciever set on 5.1 dolby digital with and optical cable to the ps3 i got 6 channel speakers surround sound speakers built in wall two left and right speakers one middle speaker and a subwoofer i also have theater seats and red curtains
