  • Guy Pratt played with Pink Floyd for a while...

  • "both ends burning" rocks here. the bass player does a great job, but then, bryan has always chosen top-flight bassists. btw, does anyone know if the pretty lady on the cover of "viva" is the actual backing singer heard on the fab recording of this song? thanx

  • THATS GUY PRATT THAT PLAYS BASS hE HAS ABOOK CALLED MYBASS AND OTHER ANIMALS VERY GOOD READ i DONT THINK IT IS THE SAME LADY HER NAME IS SARAH BROWN SHES BEEN WITH BRYAN & ROXY QUITE A FEW YEARS NOW MAYBE SOMEONE WILL BE ABLE TO SOLVE THAT ONE FOR YOU

  • It seems that Sarah Brown is black.

Thank you for your info, pjama72. I love this song.

  • you are welcome the other girl would be Michele Bryan who is not that long with Bryan

  • The girl on the cover of 'VIVA' is one half of the backup singers on the version of 'both ends burning' on that album, they were called the 'Sirens' and toured with Roxy in the 2 years before they first split in 1976...to answer your question!

  • Thank you, BigDeanoSyd. Do you know her name? I love the way that both singers scream out passionately on this marvel of a song.

  • Sadly I do know their names LOL...the blond 'siren' was Doreen Chanter and the Brunette was Jacqui Sullivan, both women are probably in their early sixties now!

  • So that was Doreen Chanter? She duets with John Wetton on "Same Time Next Week" on Manzanera's solo masterpiece "Diamond Head."
