What is distracting him? seems like the guy is married and he's distracted by the right stuff. his friend seems to want the good old days, but they're gone forever. people move on , man.

But I don't know anything abou tsmoking rock.. I was always an opiate user. It feels good to not be sticking myself 10-15 times a day anymore. I used my femoral in my leg so I never marked my arms. But i had 2 fat holes on the inner part of my thigh from hittnig there. Nasty.
@puppynut5 my first impression was of 2 lovers. And this song is from the perspective of the woman who had to see her husband leave for long periods of time... Maybe because he was in the army. Interesting how this song can evoke so many different impressions. Truly beautiful...
@5oulPower That's a really cool interpretation to me though because I actually spent 5 years in the Marine corps and deployed twice to Iraq. Which was part of the reason I was abusing opiates. Helped bring me down when my combat stress was kicking up. Thanks for your thoughts on that, actually really made me think differently about it.
What inspired him in mending that beautiful song? Though kinda sad! I think he refers to his father and his poor relationship with Eddy. Also pretty mentioned in his song Alive. And he is very sensitive about parental abandonment such evident trauma in Jeremy Video.
