A good idea might be to use an SCV to make a base where you started later on. That way, it throws the other person off as they desparately try to scout you out.

@Couttzba if I'm not terribly mistken it's because armour upgrades also reduce the damage taken to the shields, so while beefing up the shields is all well and good it does more for your unit's survivability in the long run to get armour first

Husky - you don't have to count the units when you have them selected. Each row is 8 units, and it fills them in order. So if there are any units in the second row, you know the first row if full (at 8 units).

Blizz clearly wants their money too. They designed the game to accomodate people of all skill levels and they clearly want to make sure the final version won't scare off the newbs by pitting them against tough opponents. Don't worry.
