Gosh, yet more 'shape' making in the space...rigid form based structures and archaic American modernist aesthetics........Yawn.......H­oooray for the European 80's Dance 'explosion'.......DV8, VanDerkeybus, Jan Fabre, Decoufle, Bausch,...and such likes.....new dance, locking techniques, threading, physical & Dance Theatre....irony, parody and pastiche in a new light......here here.......

@profedward For someone who doesn't have comments enabled on his videos you sure are brash in your criticism of AMERICAN modern dance that is more unfounded opinion than anything else. Merce Cunningham was a pioneer in movement way before your precious 80s "explosion"...what have you pioneered and accomplished in your career that measures up in even the slightest amount to what Merce did? Please, tell me you are joking.
