  • ROFL This is like something you'd see on World's Dumbest. But seriously, no wonder the Colt's acting up. I just think it's hilarious that it drug that man's ass all over the apple orchard xD Thanks for the laugh!

  • should have taught the horse manners earlier on.

  • @waipolipoli lol yes i totally agree!

  • bahahaha! For sale? Not the best promotional video I have seen.... but I guess they say bad publicity is better than no publicity....

  • your not handling that horse right at all...

  • haha dumb ass

  • @orafausta Ma crepa idiota.

  • Another bad horse handler. ):

  • Obviosly didn't know anything about horses

  • do u know anything about horses???

  • Bahahahahah! That man DESERVED IT! give the colt some respect and work with him idiot!!

  • This guy really needs to learn how to handle youngsters before one of them kills him

  • That's when I'd stick his little but in a round pen, and teach him who's boss and to listen. Very bad to let a young horse act up like that and get away with it.

  • The horse is just ypung, good gosh, I liek to treat my horses with respect

  • @herewefly

Yeah, but he's not giving respect back, you don't get respect with respect from a horse. A youngster is going to grow to be a big animal and they have to now that you are their "herd" leader and they need to treat YOU with respect, it's in a horse's nature. Study a little horse psychology.

  • @herewefly I might be late on the reply, but when a horse acts like that, any horse, they're not showing YOU respect. If they cant show me respect, they get none from me. I treat them like a boss mare would and make them move!

  • lol

  • Questo video è geniale! =D ahahahh

  • OMG what shitty horsemanship..kudos to the colt for realizing HE is boss!

  • Who's singing or what song is that?

  • That is when you make the colt back away from yourself and standing your ground, showing you cannot be bossed over as you are the boss and require personal space.

Always, the colt was in control and took advantage of this seemingly inexperienced handler.

Backing away means you are acting submissive.

Neither did the colt learn that what he did was wrong.

  • its so funny how the colt ust goes and grazes

  • dangerous colt? - i wonder who made it dangerous?!

  • Hah, it was his own fault.. he kept backing away from the colt, instead of taking the lead...

  • oooooh wow!! it's equal to my horse!!!

  • LOLLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOL!

  • Honestly! If that was my horse, he would get in soooo much trouble!

  • I'm not big on Parelli, but I do like Chris Irwin... Either way, the guy handling this foal was clearly inexperienced or he would not have given him so much slack in the line to begin with and he would not have let himself get in behind the foal like that.

  • Young colts require experienced handlers. This video is a clear testament to why you need to start handling and working with foals when they are born. The idea that you turn them out to grow and then bring them in for a crash course in manners is ridiculous. The worst part is that this colt is lined up for a hard life. Being this hard to handle he is not anyone's idea of a companion. Please start your horses young and seek help before they becomes unsafe. It is a small price for both of you.

  • well looks like someone needs some training

  • ummm this needs some serious work!! my colt isnt nearly this bad and im only there on weekends!! he needs to learn who the "alpha" is. and GROUND MANNERS!!

  • that happened to me with a full grown horse!! he saw food and got SLIGHTLY excited

    :P <3 love him 2 bits <3

  • wow its called a stud chain and GROUND MANORS!!!!!!!!!!!!!! was he trying to lunge this horse or something? shesh and as someone else said 'nothing works unless its used right' natural horsemanship works if you know what your doing

  • i agree

  • ahahahahahahahahahahahahhah

  • Well... it's allt hat stupid guys fault! Cleary has NO horse sense at all

  • Idiot!!!!!!!!!!

  • if the horse pulls away u let go of the lead rope durrr!!! and u should have him in a round pen to lunge. geez u guys are horse dum!

  • what is he stupid!?!?!?

  • i love the music with it..

but you have some work to do with that colt.

round pen work and get the parrelli dvds!!!

  • i doubt they're gonna waste their money on parelli.i've been to a stable and someone was doing some sort of parelli thing with something called a carrot stick that was just an orange whip(what the hell is a carrot stick?)and that horse was scared shitless of this"carrot stick"and came running through the barn trying to get away from the whip or"carrot stick"(lol!). parelli is just a waste of money.what this colt needs is a firm handler that knows what the hell he/she is doing!

  • nothing works unless its used right.. carrot sticks aka stick and string are always scarey to a horse the first time until they are trained with it. my horse freaked.. but there is a right and wrong way to use it.. its not a whip, its more solid, and its used to get the horse used to situations they will encounter in life. clinton anderson has many free youtube videos, use him or any other one that wouldnt use a purchased disc.. long and short, this guy needs to use a round pen and common sense!

  • I 100% AGREE WITH YOU (painthorselover101), I think Parelli is such bull shit! hahaha

  • nasty little colt! He needs a talking to!

  • Naughty little colt glad he held on. x.x; And by no means is he an idiot. But that colt needs a talking to. D:< BAD COLT.

  • I'm glad he held on, no horse should be able to get away with that crap. Inexcusable.

  • lmao ass hole deserved it, if he actaully knew what he was doing, none of this would have happend.

  • Let go, dumbass!

  • ok I must say to all theses comment about young people having stallions.

I'm now 16, but when I was 12 I got my first stallion, he is a 13.2 welsh mountain pony,i trained him from scratch and he won numerous titles including supreme champion stallion.I now have 3 stallions and a young colt who at 15.3 hands already (he is rising two) I will be breaking in there is no reason a young person can not deal with stallions competently I am from a nonhorsey family and I now have a successful stud farm

  • lack of respect! Our studs are safe on the halter before they even get big enough to really hurt you. He acted like he needed a good run around the pasture too! LOL

  • wanting new friends

I NEED SOMEONE TO TALK TO hV

  • Looks like the colt won!

  • the two moaning about why an 11 year old had a stallion at her age....angel06flyboy & scooter8marcus) i have been brought up around horses including STALLIONS i rode a stallion at the age of 7 to be exact....and i alsoi had an accident when i was 8 where my grandads old connemara MARE spooked i fell my foot got caught in the stirrup and i ended up with a broken leg in 5 places and a broken shoulder blade......what im trying to say is that its not just stallion aint the only dangerous horses

  • mi fai avere solo 10 giorni quel puledro?

  • this is why horse ignorant people shouldnt have them they say they are dangerous when its their own damn fault because they dont know how to handle them

  • hahahahahah

  • Made me laugh!!!! music suits the vid. Does the guy really know what he's doing?

  • bellissimo

  • My parents bought me a 9 yr old stud that was not broke or anything.i got him out to walk him around one day when i was 11 yrs old and he(being 16 hands and almost a thousand lbs,not trained, and almost completly wild, very easily spooked and hyper/high strung)...took off dragging me with him.He kicked me and stomped on me almost killing me.He kicked me almost blinding me and breaking 4 of my ribs.I remember telling my parents never to buy me a cheap horse because there is a reason they r so cheap

  • 11 year olds have no business with a stallion.

  • Why would anyone buy a stallion for an 11 year old kid! Especially a untrained one!

  • scooter8marcus..because my parents had no clue about anything that had to do with horses,so they thought that buying me a cheap horse would shut me up because i never stopped talking about wanting a horse, they found a cheap horse for sell, they bought it,and i almost got killed because of their mistake. Now they know how dangerous they are and they got rid of that stud, bought me another horse and they now know more about horses than I do.

  • ohh, i c

  • He's frisky he's a COLT a young STALLION

  • id say teach the horse some good manners, but to do that ur gonna need someone that knows wat theyre doin

  • ppft well thats just stupid, you are going to reck that horse!!

  • OUCH!

  • The colt needs an ass kickin or a bullet

  • No horse needs a bullet, you're the one who needs the bullet after a comment like that.

What the horse needs is a person who actually knows what they're doing. Jesus...

  • a kicking strap

  • Well for one thing the colt looked like he was playing at first. Sure it is a respect issue but round pen work isn't going to solve anything if the person doing the round pen work doesn't know what their doing. Secondly, the rope was caught under his elbow which looked like to me is what cause him to rear and strike when the guy pulled on the rope.

  • ma è in vendita???Se sì lo prendo io....:-P

  • Ciao sei fortissimo.

    In bocca al lupo

  • That colt has some major problems.. My vet was just kicked like that and ended up with 3 broken ribs...put that colt in the round yard and teach him some manners.

  • I agree if he would start out with ground work and manners in a roundpen where the colt has to respect the area of the roudpen, none of this probabally would have happened..it also helps if the handler knows what he's doing.. :D

  • well, i lacerated my spleen being kicked by a horse and as funny as it sounds it was a serious injury... i coulodn't ride for a yr... further more it was from a colt that used to pull the same crap in this vid, don't put up with it now! teach him to lunge properly now if thats what you were trying to do and don't put up with anything, correcting misbehaving now is easy before it becomes routine

  • Huh-uh. That guy was losing in the first 5 seconds of this clip! This colt is way pushy and has zero respect. Stick his fanny in a round pen and get some respect from him. Or he'll be 1,200 pounds of spoiled, dangerous dog food.

  • OMG!! LMAO! This video is stupid funny!

  • It doesn't look like he is intentionally trying to hurt him just trying to play but we are not 1000lb horses with thick muscles either!

  • Looks like it hit his hand. The horse in the video if you play pause you can see that the horse just about fliped himself over also! Gelding is not the answer he will still be like this trust me! He needs to be taught what is expected of him. And using domiance like say Clinton Anderson for example will probally get the horse to fight back. I like his temperment I think he will have a high play drive and so trick or dressage would fit him nicely. Anyway try Clicker Training!

  • he obviously has no respect for people. he needs to be taught some before he becomes much bigger and very dangerous. also if he is not being used for breeding i suggest gelding him would be a good idea before you try to work with him further.

  • dude who is stupid enough to let a colt out there in the open.

you idiots you deserved that you know.

  • Fillyfoal, I think the for sale is a joke. And that idiot didnt know anything about working with foals. Moron, as buffalogirl95 said. Betcha the colt is sweet as sugar with someone experienced.

  • if he is not intended for breeding, i would suggest getting him GELDED!!

he would definetly turn into a very dangourous horse if he stayed as a stallion

  • Define ROUND PEN TRAINING

  • lol looks like my new little colt joey ill be saddling up his mother and hell come charging and nail me right in the back lol

  • Oh the joy of working with youngsters. When they are that young and especially if he hasn't yet been gelded then he'd probably act out like that in any situation, i agree with the wide space being bad.

  • HAHA i so want that colt!!! sorry guys, but the little cold was hardly hurt or damaged in any way.. and i really dont think that the guy MEANT to stand in front of him... looks like the colt was having no part of his 'training' no matter what he was gonna do. lol i like vids like this proving that even a little baby can't be muscled into doingsomething.

  • hahahahaha awesome! gotta love those youngsters and teaching men a thing or two about pain.

why are you guys all freaking out? jeez we know he's stupid for not knowing how to be around a colt but look how funny it was- and no pain to the colt!

  • moron

  • poor baby horse.

  • You really need to learn what your doing. You don't work with a colt out in an open feild, you don't get dragged along with it, that will freak the foal even more and don't sand infrount of him! It's hard work, but you could at least know the basics. Also, if your trying to sell the horse, DON'T USE A VID OF HIM PANICING TO SELL HIM! Nobody will want to buy them, that would if he was being trained well.

  • im glad that colt kicked that man. you shouldnt stand infront of a youngster as you dont know them you shoud stand by its shoulder and you dont look like you should even be bringing that colt on.

  • he is a little old for this but you can try to put the lead rope behind his back legs to keep him from kicking

  • ppft well thats just stupid!!!

you are going to reck that horse!!

  • Ok..few things...

    1. Get a REAL trainer.

    2. Dont try to work with a colt in an open feild.

    3. Know what you're doing.

    4. Instead of the person holding the video camera, take them out there in case something like that happens, and dont try to do that stuff by yourself at first.

  • you deff had that coming

  • god that guy's so stupid. he should be wearing some protective gear with a colt like that! its dangerous! and why the hell is he doing it in an orchid? why?

  • its not dangerous!! its just full ov energy....plus it probably dusnt like bein lead on a PEICE OF STRING!!

  • stupid trainer=kicked bollocks lol

  • Okay, first of all, geld him!

Second, use the correct training equipment

    Third DON'T take risks

And finally, DON'T LET HIM GET AWAY WITH IT

This colt obviously knows he's got it over his handler. I don't know the horse's background, so I won't say to much, but that could've been handled much better. All I can say is be very careful and don't make assumptions, the colt needs to be taught to respect his handler.

  • wow i would have kicked that babie's ass.

  • k... geld him. don't handle babies until you're very very good with horses.

  • Its a colt its going to be full of energy!

  • if the colt dossent trust you, then you cant work with it

  • What the HELL was he leading him with. A piece of STRING?!

  • shouldve put the rope around his rump after that to keep better control of him.

  • I would make him two stone lighter. That always takes the wind out of there sales.

  • shame on you!

  • ahahahah!!!se lo vendete io lo prendoo!!

  • wow!! I like this horse's spirit, how much for him? Though we do need to work on his manners, may i suggest a round pen next time? But otherwise, good job trying to hold onto that wild colt, that kick to the hand must've hurt!

  • haha wow now this is y u never take a young colt out in the open. u should always pay attention and have a short lead wit htem!

  • Teach that horse some manners before he gets too big to argue with.

    Manners start in the stable.

  • Yeah seriously.

  • It was foolish of the handler to take an unschooled colt into this orchard where the trees make a tricky situation even more dangerous. Should have been in a paddock.

  • ouch!

  • Idiots arguing. Even the best trainers make mistakes and all horses are unpredictable, especially the young ones.

  • im not an idiot, thank ya very much.

  • are you the person in the video?

  • nope. im not that much of an idiot, u cant talk!!

  • ground work and dicipline my 2 mares dont have that yeah they can be a hand full but i dont like to dicipline my horses

  • yea i agree wif da grwnd work ...nd at dat age looks lyk he shuld b hving a lil bit of handling ...but he doesnt look any oldr than atlest 1 nd a half so y dnt they leave da propr getn stuk inta da horse kinda work till hes atlest 2 nd hopefully he will have maturd a bit more...dats just my opinion but hey many ova ways do work so dnt get titchy...plz!

  • k well the guy is asking for it by standing in front of him, thats just inviting the colt to play thats all the colt thinks....

He needs to start by standing beside him away from his feet as much as possible. Keeping him tighter lessens the chance of getting barreled like that, wat an idiot!

  • Best leave him to someone that is able to handle a colt. He needs ground work and dicipline!

  • hes not "dangerous," hes just scared!!

  • this horse isnt scared are you nuts!! this horse is an ignorant unhandled colt.thats what you get!

  • well how would you like to be getting pulled on by a rope, and i know more about horses than you do. i've delt with foals like that. foals are foals, and they're not supposed to have good manners, like grown horses SHOULD have.

  • uh yeh rite, i ride horses on the track and worked on thoroughbred Studs AND arabian studs AND paint studs.I have handled 1 day old foals to 3years olds and up, i am not stupid!!! YES the only reason he reared was because the rope was caught around his front leg, but he was ignorant to have kicked out (BIG NO NO) and bolt off!!

  • yes...that is why you need to train him!

  • omg!!! thats what i said, hes a colt hes ignorant and hes UNHANDLED thats what you get, but what i am also saying is even yearlings i have worked with which havnt even had a halter on before arent this bad.

  • mayeb because you suck?

    GIVE HIM DISIPLINE!

  • HAHAHA u have turned it around on yourself, first u said "hes scared" and now u say "Give him discapline" ur an idiot..u dont give a horse discapline if they are genuinly scared,(which he is not)!!

  • I suggest you give yourself a spelling lesson! It's "discipline".

  • ever herd of anything called typo?!

  • Haha!

I love at the end [for sale]. Nice touch!

  • That colt will make a lovely gelding!

  • The man should have some help!

  • he took it well :)

  • well everybody, obviously the colt needs ground work and you most likely dont have to tell them that. I would say that ground work is what they are trying to work on and with a colt like that its not unlikely its gonna get pissed that human is trying to control it.

  • ooof that looked sore

    well nice colt tho

my filly used to do that but now shes calmed down alot

    x

  • u need to put that colt in a more contained area until hes more comfortable in the ground work

  • bellissimo video !! ahahah

  • u should be very care full with babys

  • I've heard from an ex-breeder that foal hooves hurt worse than adult horses', because htey have so much power in such a smaller surface area. Yowch. This colt needs an experienced handler and plenty of room to burn off that energy.

  • yes, that horse needs work, and ow, ive been kicked by a horse *my fault* and it hurts like h*ll

  • haha gutted mate!! :L lol

    servs yi rite!!

  • The handler isnt the brightest in the world.

  • That colt needs some ground work!

  • try taking a crop to its ass

  • he needs to hold the colt on a longer rope, the colt needs so feel free but still on a rope.

  • That colt needs some serious ground work, I dont think the man was treating him poorly I just think he is not experienced enough to handle that colt. Baby needs an attitude adjustment. I did not see a scared animal, I seen disrespect and nobody able to teach him.

  • Some people need to get a grip, that colt needs some manners knocked into it!!!!!! cheeky lil' sh*t

  • I love the music! Who is that?

  • IDIOT
