I so love this. Every time i watch and hear it I notice another piece that delights me. Your bass solo towards the end is the receipt for years of passion and love for that Rick. The vocal harmonies smell as sweet as the Bulgarian Women's Choir and your distorted tailpiece and headstock reflections echo FOOW's inner gatefold photo of Chris in the car bumper. How wonderful.

@kelmaur probably the vocal harmonies? It ends up sounding that way, though as I said before I was thinking more of a Bulgarian choir kind of harmony. Queen is a very good reference as well and a band I really like a lot.

Yeah, good progressive song! Maybe the guitar is too much distorted (in some passages I don't understand the chords, they seem noise...) but I really love the bassline, reminds me of Chris Squire (that's a good thing =D). Good job!

First part of the Bass line and sound is as some mentioned here kind of Geddy/ Rush style. Singing sound much more like YES and Trevor Rabin. Later part of the bass line is very Squire style!! I also think I see some inspiration from Bangles bass around 4:50.

It was very exhausting and it's very likely that in the end I could wait some more to rest my ears for the mixing, that wasn't the case. Eventually I may release some alternate mix. Someone suggested I would put this on some download format (ex itunes) ... that would be a good occasion to do it.
