I Am Number Four is an AMAZING film!!

The book however, is not. It's terrible. I know all the promos say the book came first, but it's like they got a teenager to throw the book together in a bid to publicise the film! The writing quality is terrible, it's first person-present tense. Brilliant idea for a book, just didn't quite work out in practice.
