  • not enough you need moar

  • Buy many many more mags. The AR-15 mags are so inexpensive that having more is a must. Thermold 20 round mags are $3.00 to $4.00 each depending on where you buy them and they are reliable. 20's fit in shirt, pants and coat pockets nicely and are very rigid so they take more of a beating. 40 or more is a good start. w w w dot centerfiresystems dot c o m has them cheap. your choice of flavor in 30's but at least 40 too.Get engineer bags or gear to put em in. More is Better. :) invest and live.

  • I was gonna say no until I saw the attack dog, then that had me convinced.

  • No, it is not enough, until the middle of the table starts to sag.

  • i passed gas

  • nope need more

  • Trade or sell your Eotech for more ammo and mags! Iron sights work without batteries...

  • not near enough

  • Hell, that's justa day at the range!! ;)

  • Yeah that's cool for the day....

  • It's never, ever enough.

  • in my thesis, i stated that there needed to be moar

  • Nope. Not enough. You need at least 8k rounds for your M.B.R. and a minimum of 500 rounds for one handgun. If you have a bolt action rifle, then a minimum of 800 rounds would do.

  • good job, just get to about 20k in rounds then make another video! lol I've got about 14k in 5.56 in x193,mk262, xm855. 600 of barrett 416, 2800 in 308, 6k of 9mm, 6k of 45acp, and my kids have 10k of 22lr. good start but you're no where near any potential of a zombie situation! LOL

  • If the SHTF for real, you will never have "enough" ammo!

  • Showin' that M&P!!

  • I now have 2,000 rounds of 5.56 and 223.

In the short time left I will buy about 500 rounds of 223 russian Tula ammo for my MINI 14 each month until dooms day.

  • No.

  • I would stock up on that TAC and Hornady myself to store, the plinking stuff comes and goes. There's never enough ammo.. that looks lilke a weekend range day to me. d(*_*)b

  • Nice setup on AR, simple and reliable. Ammo is all from good manufacture and weights. I have same setup (Except ACOG for sight) on an Kel-Tec RFB. You might consider a flip magnifier setup for the Eotech and a foregrip/light/bipod but you got the basics for when the blac...wups...I mean the Zombies attack. Good Luck dude.

  • @PistolTeacher lolz at Freudian slip ;)

  • That is a good start....

  • Trick question, there is never 'enough ammo'.

Thanks for the laugh though, cupcake : )

  • get a 100rd drum, parts kit, sling, slide fire, and toilet paper.

  • @iandaous don't get a hundred round drum because they are unreliable. your better off with several 20/30 round mags

  • I could shoot all that in a 1hr gun fight..

  • @MegaSurviverman If he is fast enough and shit really hitting the fan it could last less then 20 min

  • @Chinunit22 or 10min if you have someone jamming mags for you...lmao thats what 20lbs of lead downrange in like 7 min lol

  • If you have to ask, then no, no it is not =)

  • broken firing pin......

  • Chuck Norris kept saying it was enough, but then he took an arrow to the knee.

  • No, not enough..........But, a good start. You need some XM855 to go with that pile.

  • Y have so many different rounds? I try to stick to the same kind of ammo brand that I zero my rifle in with! That's when you will be most accurate and in a shtf situation every round counts! I stick to wolf ammo yhea it's dirty shit but I can get alot of it with out breaking the billfold and still be decent at 100 yards! I have some soft points and hollow for hunting but other than that fmj and lots off it!

  • The Hornady ammo is nasty (good) stuff.

  • depends on the job. Where, how many, at what distance.

  • missing batterys for your optics need some of those

  • Not even romotely close to enough... soldier on patrol carries 30 mags for the AR-15/M-16. And that is for 1 mission/ambush/patrol that is 900 rounds... do you think you have enough ammo now?

  • try for at least 20-30 magazines and 4-6k rounds for your primary firearms.

  • not enough......

  • No, not enough ammo at all. 5k rounds minimum

  • To awnser your question.: No its not.

  • Looks like only about a weeks worth to me.

  • I ve seen guys shoot that much at the range. You can see the shiny brass on the ground from space. Makes me sick.

  • NO GET A 6.8 BUT WHAT YOU HAVE IS NICE AND WILL DO SOME DAMAGE LEARN TO MAKE ARMOR PERCING BULLETS YOU SEE RED LIST BLUE LIST OR YELLOW WHEN THEY WANT ALL GOES DEATH SO PREPARE N FIGHT WHEN YA GOTTA. GHOST!

  • @eye2eyeize 6.8 will set you back 2300 - 2500 and ammo is hard to find

  • And for all you guys saying thats not alot of ammo, id agree with you if it was the zombie apocalypse or a war-like situation, but even if it was, it would be stupid to stay stationary, and it would be a bitch to try n carry all of that ammo, so forget getting more, take unused bullets from your vitcims piece if its compatiable so you can move quick with out the xtra weight and arent forced to unload 1000 plus bullets in a day.

  • Daayuum thats alot of fire power, so when the apocalypse starts where is our rally point gunna be? id feel alot safer with that guy on my side than some idiot who cant even reload a 9 milli. and props on that assualt rifle, its real purrty

  • its depend what kind of job ? if its for killing Mexican well probably you need more than that or you need even more if you need to mow all the Chinese race

  • no

  • It only takes 1 bullet to take it from ya.

  • might be enough for 1 patrol....lol

  • That really isn't that much ammo...

  • You've got a few days worth of range / target ammo. Nice rifle though. If it has a 1-8 or 1-7 twist you could run a higher grain bullet. As is said though, the best bullet is a well placed one...

  • NO!, its not enough...the termites will still eat your floor!

  • Unfortunately, there were 1501 zombies, so the last one ate your face.

  • Agent Smith : MORE

  • Think it looks clean because it's never used. It's a tool, not a trophy. And that's not really ALOT of ammo.

  • nice cleaning job on the rifle

  • it isnt enough untill chuck norris says its enough

  • @rabidmonkys he says to much ammo is bad you need more

  • no

  • Nice you got it right you only need one gun. You can't carry twenty guns at a time.

  • @wv02m

you do need multiple guns, for one, what if that gun fails in some way? You also need a variety of calibers for different purposes

  • Alright guys help me out! I got enough to buy 2 pistols or a plain and simple Ak-47 but which one? If you guys think I should buy 2 pistols or maybe even one which one should I get? Help me out by sending me a message or just commenting on here please and thanks :)

  • @victorthegreat96 how about you get a pistol and an ak? dual wielding may look bad ass but it is fairly impractical

  • Grab a 45 hand gun a pump shotgun and mosin that just a budget armory mid range mosberg 930 spx para p14 45 acp Remington r5 and a 762 /39 upper so you con stock spam cans of ammo for cheap but he'll yes that will get it done what you got has got all you will need to take on all most any thing you just might want some flexibility

  • buy another 5.56mm and then go and get a real weapon, a 7.62mm, because for government thugs and other really dangerous people only a 7.62 will do. You might also consider a .45 cal either a auto or a revolver because up close and personal, a .45 has first round stopping power of over 80%

  • Thing is - You have one weapon from this video, get another 5.56 weapon at least so the ammo isn't wasted if the weapon is. And ammo is so cheap, that you can never have enough. It might look impressive stacked like this, but you could double the ammo at little cost.

Also, what are you going to do in a SHTF, steal and punder, weapons is just for defense, not fighting a war.

  • need about another 2k rounds and that should cover the ar

  • Yeah that might be enough to last a friday night. May want to pick up about another 1k rounds just to be sure.

  • nope cuz ur gun will fail if some dust blows into the chamber

  • enough for a good plinking session, sure.

  • enough for a good plinking session, sure.

  • is that enough? hell No. 1500 rds wouldn't last the weekend for me. I never have less then 5k on hand.

  • @controversyking Wow you really generalize dont you. I think you are an asshole for thinking you are preparing for the end of the world and that means a am a NIGGER on welfare. What the fuck is wrong with you? I take care of my family and I have never recieved a government handout.

  • umc is so much better than pmc

  • Beginner.

  • Depends on what the job is...

  • not enough- thats just not enough at all. sorry

  • dude your a texan,that should be a .308 AR-10

    comon you know the sayings

    "EVERYTHING IS BIGGER IN TEXAS"

    "DONT MESS WITH TEXAS"

ONLY STEERS AND QUERES COME FROMM TEXAS"

    and so on.

    still beutiful AR-15

by the way is UMC ammo cheap quality?

  • Better then me right now. I only have 800 rounds 556 and 223. I need at least 8000.

    I have 2500 rounds of 22lr, I need 40,000 of that.

  • A smarter thing would to have a Dillon reloader with all the stuffing.

Mabey a couple betamags. Still a nice setup.

  • Thats a good day on the range.

  • try 4 30 round mags a 100 round twin drum mag 1000 rounds of ammo a eotech holo sight

  • for professional one bullet is enough.for you maybe 10.000 is waste of money.

  • no

  • get 2 drum mags :D

  • need more magazines :)

  • Just one question, how many people are you planning on shooting without getting hit? If you really think you are going to use 10000 rounds and survive, you have no clue of the dynamics of a gunfight, unless you have 3 or more people with you, that hopefully know how to fight, don't bother buying so much ammo. You are not on a range, these targets you are planning on shooting they shoot back, and they move around.

  • @rcartaya2000 We know you're not a shooter. That wasn't even close to 10,000 rounds.

  • Comment removed

  • you will hand it all over to the government when they come for it

  • At the very least ...you need 10, 000 rnds per gun if you can afford it

    Neils

    9:55 am

    08/09/2011

  • no.....

  • It's a good start.

  • more guns needed, handgun, shotgun, boltaction

  • why make videos of it when you can be out shooting it no one on the internet cares if you have a boat load of ammunition.

  • You paranoid morons do realize 1) nothing is going to happen and 2) if it did you are prepared for a very specific situation. Do you think having enough ammo for 50 men makes you equivalent to a 50 man army? Because unless you have 50 arms I dont think you can shoot more than 1 or 2 guns at once. What if you have to flee on foot? You cant carry that shit. You guys are worse than the nerds that play dungeons and dragons in their mommys house.

  • @TheAnnoyingTroll7 You picked your name well, because you're an annoying troll. Let's say there was a massive 'discontinuity'. Massive economic collapse, nuclear exchange, comet impact, whatever. Would you rather have guns, ammo and food stockpiled or not? Most people don't have 50 guns for stuff like this. They have 50 guns because they collect guns. The have a couple that are go to weapons for defense. This small amount of ammo this guy has, you could carry that on foot if you had a rig

  • @Nater245689 You have the right to do as you please. Some people live their entire life prepared for the rapture, some live their life sure that an economic collapse is right around the corner. How you entertain yourself for the 24 hours there are in a day is your choice. If I was spending time and money to fit my house to resist falling meteorites you would think I was stupid but IF one hit my house I would have the last laugh.

  • @Nater245689 There are a million different highly unlikely senerios I could prepare for but dont because the risk is extremely low. For some reason you guys picked a perticular unlikely senerio to prepare for that would require guns and ammo. I just think you guys are living in a FANTASY WORLD. So if jesus comes tomorrow, I need a stockpile of ammo or I need uninsured motorist coverage I'd be fucked. I'm just playing the odds that tomorrow will just be another day.

  • @TheAnnoyingTroll7 I don't know anyone personally who prepares for any specific scenario, but I'm sure that some do. I don't prepare for anything in particular. I don't really think anything is going to happen, at least not rapidly. Do I think the US and it's empire will collapse? Yes. Do I think it'll be as bad as what happened to the USSR? Probably. That in and of itself is scary enough. And stop the ridiculous Jesus shit, I don't believe in fairy tales.

  • @TheAnnoyingTroll7 I seriously hope your right. Nothing is gonna happen. but it always pays to be prepared. And if nothing does happen we have plenty of ammo for the range. Plus it helps the economy. Ammo is getting expensive. there's a lot of money spent sitting on that table. That's even with out that fine looking weapon.

  • @Btz1911 You're not preparing for anything and you're no helping the economy. Buying guns, ammo and shooting them is a HOBBY and for a lot of you a FANTASY. It makes good conversation around the gun range to talk about how SHTF. You may think because the economy or obama its real this time but these conspiracy theories have been talked about by gun owners for generations. I think its impossible to enjoy guns without thinking the end is near.

  • @TheAnnoyingTroll7 How the hell do you figure we are not helping the economy? I have spent over 5500.00 in just firearms this year alone. I don't know how much in ammo and accessories. Thats just a drop in the bucket in the total of owners in the US. You do not have to prepare shit.. you can just be a victim IF the SHTF. I myself would rather be ready. its a good thing you dont get paid for thinking! I enjoy every second with my toys. I'm sure I'm not alone in that. Goodby

  • @Btz1911 You spending 5500 on guns helping the economy is like saying anyone spending money on anything is helping the economy. If i bought $5500 in hotdogs i would be helping the economy retard. Yes IF the SHTF in the specific way YOU think it's going to happen I will be screwed but so will you if a giant meteor falls out of the sky and onto your house. Youre not the first generation of idiots to think the end was near and you wont be the last so go stare at your guns and jerk off moron.

  • @TheAnnoyingTroll7 So now your an economics professor huh. Your just as your name says.. You just left out pussy ass retard loser. You have no brain what so ever. Or a real life. But you can think what ever you want. We will too.Now go away troll.

  • @Btz1911 Yes you will think what you want. You think you are better than me but the only way to prove I am wrong is for a specific type of disaster that requires a stockpile of guns and ammo has to happen. Until then it will be "you wait and see". Choosing to spend your money on guns does not give you the skills of a navy seal but in your fantasy world it does. Your guns wont save you when you are dieing of lung or liver cancer.

  • @TheAnnoyingTroll7 I do not think I'm better than anyone. Including you. There is no right or wrong. Its just a matter of opinion. If I want to spend my money on stuff like that I will. Its My money. I don't think I'm a Seal! But I am a former Marine recon. So ya... I do have some skills.. unlike you. I had the Honor and the balls to serve my country.

  • @Btz1911 Yeah I know every asshole that was in the military was on the front line taking gun fire. Go fuck yourself moron. I'm sorry I didn't grow up in some small shit town like you with no possibility for a future other than to enlist. If everyone that joins the military does it for honor why do they need to offer a sign on bonus? Why would anyone need a sign on bonus?

  • @TheAnnoyingTroll7 No. you think you know. Actually you don't know your asshole from a hole in the ground. ( I bet your boyfriend does though).First off fucktard...I'm not an asshole. I'm a prick. Get it right if your gonna insult someone. Nice try with the shithole town comment. That sign on bonus plus the GI bill helped me get a Masters in Electrical Engineering Your not even a good Troll. Just a lifeless loser who feels the need to run his mouth to make himself look big..You are pathetic.

  • @TheAnnoyingTroll7 You are an idiot. And you will be one of the first victims to go. Actually that really isn't a bad idea. Do us all a favor... get a head start and go hang yourself please.

  • you need a handgun with couple of mags maybe a dual 9mm berett, a knife something liek a double edge sword or a Katana or a Balisong Or a Machete someething long. A flash light, more mags, Grenades, an AK 47 wiht mags and ammo, a lighter/flint and steel and a whole lot of ammo.. i dunno im just adding to your question " Is This Enough To Get The Job Done !!!" you need something to use and shoot for longrange too like the M110 Semi-Automatic Sniper cant get one as the gov. here is strict..

  • lol be funny if theres nothing in them hahahaha

  • i would get more mags.

  • In my opinion, for a SHTF deal, i'd get another rifle like an AK for example since it requires less maintance.

  • Rock on man, very good ammo selection and kiss setup for a AR. I own the same exact version of your ar 15 (S&W MP15a with a fixed front site post). Here are some cheap but excellent mods to put on that gun

Magpul CTR or MOE adjustable stock (I prefer the CTR but the moe isnt bad)

Magpul MIAD or again MOE pistol grip (your choice again)

Magpul MOE forend (This I found to be the cheapest and best upgrade, quality rail interface upgrade and customization and has a VERY beefy heat shield)

  • No

  • you need a meatier dog man

  • No not at all. You ought to at least have 10,000 rounds. I have 10k 45 acp rounds in 50 cal surplus cans. It's about 13 years old now and the steel cases haven't even began to rust.

  • @TheExtraCoffee

yep 8 50 cal army cans hold my 10,000 fmj 45 acp rounds.

  • you need more ammo

  • Good so far but u need a shotgun

  • I would think if it hits the fan you are probably going to want to hook up with a group or community that you would help secure. This looks like a good start.think of what you have there is possibly the last ammo you'll see, then ask yourself is it enough.Thats why holding down the fort by yourself is not a very good prospect when you think this ammo will probably provide you food as well as protection.I dont see a handgun,I dont know if you have one but I definitely think you should.I like 45's.

  • you can never have enuff ammo.

  • @coldbeer338

But you can, and I always do, carry too much to the range.

  • In my opinion, you're off to a great start on ammo! But you've got just the bare bones amount of mags you're going to need for an extended SHTF situation. Hey, mags are cheap. And if you happen to lose a couple during a running gunbattle, what are you going to replace them with? I suggest 3 full load outs worth of magazines. Meaning, 3 times what you've got now. How do you plan on carrying those mags into battle? You need a vest or chest rig of some kind. What about a handgun & 1000 rds for it?

  • its never "enough". but you are doing better then the other 95% of us.

  • not enough

  • Need at least 1000 rounds for each weapon bare min. Also you might want to go to Old Sarge Drop Zone and get some 4 or 7 pocket repack kits. Keeps your ammo ready to rock & roll when you need it. You can see some videos here on youtube for repack kits.

  • @applemanjohn Where do you get your info from? 1000rounds per weapon, regardless of type of weapon? Just curious. Also, what exactly are you planning on missing 999times per weapon? People?

  • @Rorypeter1 For a SHTF scenario, at least 1000 rounds per weapon, standard home defense scenario, of course you wouldn't need a 1000 rounds.

  • @nightember He won't need 1000? Why? Do you think the attackers might kill him before he empties his first mag? For a true SHTF scenario think at least 10k per weapon.

For the "standard home defense scenario" a short pistol gripped 12ga. is a better bet. Just the sound of the shotgun's slide will cause most perps in a home invasion to piss themselves (probably the homeowner too!)

  • @Diginanda Aww crap.. I forgot to finish it before I posted it ^^; I meant, for a standard home defense scenario you wouldn't need 1000 rounds.

Hell, just the sight of a gun would probably cause the perp to piss themselves haha. I'm planning on getting one of those short pistol gripped Mossberg 500's for home defense since atm I pretty much only have a Mosin Nagant.

  • Nope still not enough...

  • U can never have enogh

  • Nonjew33 agreed

  • not enough. you definitely need more mags, then more ammo.

  • hmmm if SHTF im ganna grab all the ammo i can and im starting my own army so if SHTF im throwing some shit back

  • I imagine you based your loadout on a military patrol loadout of 210 rounds in 7 mags, with spare ammo for later. Not bad, but ins SHTF you might want to have friends and family in the mix 2 heads are better than 1. Plus more mags. I have at least 10 mags per gun and keep my ammo in stripper clips. I keep a stripper clip adaptor with each ammo can, and a spare in my vest. You don't have a whole squad to provide cover fire while you reload. And if you bug out that shit is HEAVY.

  • What's the twist rate on that barrel?

  • What's the twist rate on that barrel?

  • yes to answer your question that little dog is enough to kill every one

  • Enough? hardly!!! maybe for a day or 2 if the shit hits the fan.

  • yes

  • Add more magazine that will be cool for ammo maybe you need more than 2,000 or more.

  • Get a galil you dont have to have nearly as much work done to it.

  • no

  • NEVER ENOUGH!

  • nope

  • You can never have enough ammo.

  • nope. period.

  • Nice! But whats the rifle and ammo for? I think your dog could take on any threat that came your way! Just kidding. Nice video

  • Not. Even. Close.

  • No, it is not!

  • not even close to enough ammo lol

  • If you need more mags go to gun shows, they usually have bins of mill. surplus m16 mags for like 3 bucks each

  • no this guys got more

    watch?v=cEk2-n_6UIU&feature=feedrec_grec_index

  • depends on the job and u could always use more ammo

  • You need like 20 more mags, and i few more rounds lol

  • Quite enough ammo. I don't even keep that amount of 5.56 at home since I only have 1 AR that I don't shoot very often.

  • @fixdeluxe1 If society breaks down (and it will) I know where to come and get food and shelter if I need it. since you won't have any ammo left to defend yourself, I'll just take what you have. Hope you have a good looking wife or girlfriend I can have my way with. Ha, Ha,Ha.

  • @blackwingA520 You can find a way across the pacific to try and get me.....if you have the balls. You also need to hit the gym to pump some iron.I also have far more ammo for other weapons(mainly 7.62x39mm and .308) so you can screw yourself.

  • nope, you need more magazines and at least double the ammo.

  • check out the wolf gold 223. its only about 12 bucks a box for 75gr HP BT rounds very accurate and have as much ft/lbs of energy at the muzzle as the Hornady tap 75gr ammo its brass cased and runs great in my mini 14

  • @2bidfilmsguy 75gr is not good in 1:7 twist M4 type barrels it's more for the 1:9 1:10. M4 is optimized for 40-62 gr.

  • @vashguud well thanks for clearing that up for me, I was just giving an example though, they also sell it in 55 gr. again I have bought it in 75gr and it works great for me. Plus for 12 dollars a box it out performs anything under 20 dollars I have ever shot in my life
