Gran Turismo is too repetitive, and Ferrari Challenge is no doubt a good game, but i think GRID is far superior. More realistic, more fun, much much better graphics, more replay value..

it might be true, but it also depends on what difficulty level you play. I generally play in the hardest of levels, with all aids off, and the driving experience feels pretty much realistic. Ferrari Challenge is more detailed in some aspects, but in overall, GRID still beats it in realism, in my opinion.
This game is the best racing game out there. The ferrari's are incredibly fun to drive and the courses are challenging. The online play is great and there are some very good drivers online to race against.
since i dont have a ps3. I bought ferrari challenge for PS2. The graphics suck!!! Granturismo 4 has better graphics than it. But this game is still fun. I unlocked that 333 sp and man dat thang is fast.

h, the beginning ogf part 2 is a mess, this game includes music i bet to mask the fake engine exhaust noises. 2.15 into clip, o the terrible music n fake engine noises are making me sick! 5.11 into clip, help, the agony , the pain of listening to these fake ferrari engine and exhaust notes, its making me sick, rofl. looks budget but i wouldnt mind picking it up at a budget price.
yeah it does. its awesome with a g25. its one of the bet sims out there. the gameplay is awesome and the sound is incredible. there is however a few things on the graphics side but i don't think they make that much of difference 9/10
Hi, i used to play TOCA Race Driver, and now on my ps3 my best Racing Game till now was DIRT, love Rally... but till DIRT2 comes out this one after your review is an option for me, not only graphics a racing game has to feel right and respond nice so trust you and get it its 20euro now...
either wait for the full version of GT5 (i bet they it'll have better graphics) or for NFS: Shift or for Split Second. They all come out later this year/2010
Quick question. Is this game like GT in the sense that there are a million different styles of the same car, or are they all different models? It would kind of get boring to have 10 different F430s and F355s and 1 F40. Still, this game looks cool. I'll give it a try.
Your Review started out very well in part- then really went nowhere in Part 2. In a review you can't let the visuals just speak for themselves for too long..it is a review! Secondly, I love the weird stuff at the end, but, after an extensively focused/detailed review it is good to go non-sequitor off topic at the end. This game is great and hard,which I like but, time has to be invested. I play with the only wheel the G25 and there was no mention of what wheel is good, (no clutch in this game)
No mention of the fact that u have to drive against the exact same cars all the time, which is good but, a shortcut by developers...give me an arcade mode with all different cars like PGR3 (yes PGR3, still the best game and in 2005 as a launch title). Furthermore, no mention of the in-car (which is the only way one should ever play) dashboard view as not being as highly detailed or hi-res as it should be.
Also, the game is very rough (I guess thats why it will take til 2010 or beyond or never for gt5 to come out) THe cars feel heavier in this and that is a god thing. Being rough in racing (which this is) is a good thing but, obviously programmers cut some corners and framerate and other aspects are thin to save this framerate. Such as your mentioned slight milisecond freezing, (not mentioned) amazing looking replays, but no camera view changes, saving or fast foward, pause etc...
to save overal disc space and time, slightly tinny sounds when accidents ocurr and leaves and grass effects that are pre drawn when slightly entering the outskirts of a track. (I somewhat like this effect though) Cars are tough to unlock, with no cheat codes (which I like), except for the Ferrari 599 which is unlockable with a d-pad button combo (similar to the original Contra) (Maybe I'm a nerd as well?
Ahh... no) (Maybe I should stop using parenthesis?) I like this game better than GT5 and it is more finishe dby far but, not as refined...again good. Tracks are amazing and cars outside look great. I hate Forza with no Dashboard and the Vinyl shops, which I normally hate, is great and genious in this game. The copy and changing aspect once something is on the car needs tweeking though. The music and sound in this game is absolutely amazing!
A nice myriad of music and rough ferrari realistic engine sounds! I see u turned the SC off and I realize that the car is much faster, almost unrealistic as well as realistic with everything turned off. The AI cars are tough to pass unless (like u) you bump them...A no no in realistic racing. THe car is not effected that much by damage but all panels of the car will come off, including the trunk (front of car) in a collision.
I was blue flagged in one race because I was messing around and about to be lapped. (coool) Races can be long with qualifying and it feels like it needs to be more free as a game. I found menus and detailed game content, tracks and ways to race very good. The CARD CHALENGE (yes) was even fun! The intent of this game is to showcase Ferrari and its splendor and this game does that extremely well.This game deseves a 8.6 out of 10 not the 6.5 and 6.0 reviews it has gotten. Very high rating from me.
Some of the cars don't have speedometers because they are race cars, much like Nascar, they have tach domineers. And some are actually digital and can be hard to see on the dash, mostly with the light not there or glaring on it.
And Muggello is done a lot better in this game then Forza 2. Forza 2 did a pretty bad job on the track layout. They nailed it here.
I like the standard sixaxis better, the analog on dualshock3 feel used right out of the box. If your getting it for multiplayer go for it, but if your getting one because you feel like your missing out I guarantee it will be 55$ wasted, or atleast thats my opinion.
Also, if you don't like the triggers, get some Gioteck triggers. They only cost like £3 (About $5) and they're awesome for games that use thr trigger alot (Call of Duty, Grid, Gran turismo etc)

I find EA Trax songs to be generally cringe-worthy, which means I usually have to turn the sound off. Stereo? Mono? How about nada!

Quick question. Is this game like GT in the sense that there are a million different styles of the same car, or are they all different models? It would kind of get boring to have 10 different F430s and F355s and 1 F40. Still, this game looks cool. I'll give it a try.

Your Review started out very well in part- then really went nowhere in Part 2. In a review you can't let the visuals just speak for themselves for too long..it is a review! Secondly, I love the weird stuff at the end, but, after an extensively focused/detailed review it is good to go non-sequitor off topic at the end. This game is great and hard,which I like but, time has to be invested. I play with the only wheel the G25 and there was no mention of what wheel is good, (no clutch in this game)

No mention of the fact that u have to drive against the exact same cars all the time, which is good but, a shortcut by developers...give me an arcade mode with all different cars like PGR3 (yes PGR3, still the best game and in 2005 as a launch title). Furthermore, no mention of the in-car (which is the only way one should ever play) dashboard view as not being as highly detailed or hi-res as it should be.

Also, the game is very rough (I guess thats why it will take til 2010 or beyond or never for gt5 to come out) THe cars feel heavier in this and that is a god thing. Being rough in racing (which this is) is a good thing but, obviously programmers cut some corners and framerate and other aspects are thin to save this framerate. Such as your mentioned slight milisecond freezing, (not mentioned) amazing looking replays, but no camera view changes, saving or fast foward, pause etc...

to save overal disc space and time, slightly tinny sounds when accidents ocurr and leaves and grass effects that are pre drawn when slightly entering the outskirts of a track. (I somewhat like this effect though) Cars are tough to unlock, with no cheat codes (which I like), except for the Ferrari 599 which is unlockable with a d-pad button combo (similar to the original Contra) (Maybe I'm a nerd as well?

Ahh... no) (Maybe I should stop using parenthesis?) I like this game better than GT5 and it is more finishe dby far but, not as refined...again good. Tracks are amazing and cars outside look great. I hate Forza with no Dashboard and the Vinyl shops, which I normally hate, is great and genious in this game. The copy and changing aspect once something is on the car needs tweeking though. The music and sound in this game is absolutely amazing!

A nice myriad of music and rough ferrari realistic engine sounds! I see u turned the SC off and I realize that the car is much faster, almost unrealistic as well as realistic with everything turned off. The AI cars are tough to pass unless (like u) you bump them...A no no in realistic racing. THe car is not effected that much by damage but all panels of the car will come off, including the trunk (front of car) in a collision.

I was blue flagged in one race because I was messing around and about to be lapped. (coool) Races can be long with qualifying and it feels like it needs to be more free as a game. I found menus and detailed game content, tracks and ways to race very good. The CARD CHALENGE (yes) was even fun! The intent of this game is to showcase Ferrari and its splendor and this game does that extremely well.This game deseves a 8.6 out of 10 not the 6.5 and 6.0 reviews it has gotten. Very high rating from me.

Some of the cars don't have speedometers because they are race cars, much like Nascar, they have tach domineers. And some are actually digital and can be hard to see on the dash, mostly with the light not there or glaring on it.
And Muggello is done a lot better in this game then Forza 2. Forza 2 did a pretty bad job on the track layout. They nailed it here.

This is a sim more then anything, Grid is arcade. This is more for if you like Gran Turismo or Forza.

I like the standard sixaxis better, the analog on dualshock3 feel used right out of the box. If your getting it for multiplayer go for it, but if your getting one because you feel like your missing out I guarantee it will be 55$ wasted, or atleast thats my opinion.

Also, if you don't like the triggers, get some Gioteck triggers. They only cost like £3 (About $5) and they're awesome for games that use thr trigger alot (Call of Duty, Grid, Gran turismo etc)
