How do you move the marker up as you make the double decreases?I have restarted my BSJ many times.I now keep on counting & counting to make sure I'm on track.I have lost a lot of yarn as I can't frog the double decrease area, anyway I am starting again!but don't know how to move the yarn marker up to make sure I have it around the correct stitch, maybe it's obvious but I just want to make sure.I think I'll jump off the roof if I have to start again!Thank you so much bgsamuelson@gmail.com
Hello, I am attempting to knit this one for a wee girl of a few months and I want to do the 'medium' of the 3 sizes. I have a couple of questions regarding the counting of the stitches. I would like to know how many stitches you have until you insert the 'scarf' (approx 2 and a half minutes into the video) and then how many until the next scarf? Thank you
Thank you so much for these videos, I am currently taking a class making this sweater and it's nice to be able to see these videos at the same time to make sure I am doing it correctly!
Thank you for the series..it really is a lot of help. I just completed my first BSJ and now I am tackling my second..I want to incorporate some of the great accents you did like the row of k2tog...I have some questions first I want to know if I can use the long tail cast on for the BSJ? Second after the row of K2tog what do you do on the knit row? Wouldn't the number of stitches be less than what is required?
HELP! I'm stuck on the instruction: 'After 22 decr. (90 sts), work 3 rows even,...'
22 decr. is not a multiple of 4, which is the number of stitches decresed in each decrese row. The cast on is 160 - 160 less 90 is 70, which is also not a multiple of 4. Any direction/clarification you can provide would be most appreciated! THANKS!!
Thanks for this whole series of videos . . . I just started my BSJ, and this series was really a great help! I especially loved the hints you gave about how to remember what size needles I'm using (knots in the yarn) and the yarn around the stitch for the marker made everything so much easier! These videos came out just as I was starting my BSJ (in anticipation of doing an ASJ!) so they were very timely (I'm waiting for #6 to be released ;-)

Thank you SOOOO much for this series of videos. Invaluable - especially as we(apparently) can't get the schoolhouse press DVD shipped to the UK!

Thank you for doing this. Also, the dog in the jacket at the end is just priceless.
