  • good bake

  • Woah, that's sick man. Did you model it by hand or in sculpt mode?

  • @Dark0Lord7 By hand, no sculpt mode.

  • Very nice work, textures are great!

  • how many polys?

  • @YINGAI1995 1454 tris.

  • @plyczkowski nice dude, btw, the shining metal on the knife is fantastic!!!!!!! how do you do it?

  • @YINGAI1995 Thanks. It's just a specular map and a few point lights.

  • What did you use the Photoshop for? Texturing? Can you please explain how?

  • @KearoNasanam Search in Google: texturing in photoshop. I did this the standard way.

  • is it possible to use a texture like this in the game engine not the render? because every time i go to game engine i lose material section, i'm using the 2.5 beta version.

  • @IcePhenixEx Yeah, diffuse specular and normal maps should be visible in the BGE with no problems, check your drivers maybe.

  • @plyczkowski thanks!

  • @IcePhenixEx check the normals of the model

  • @tuneroivan i dont know what normals are :(

tnx for the answer anyway! i'll try to find what normals are.

  • wow... i wish i was good. hehe :(

  • music name?

  • did you created a metalic material for the mesh and then aplied the final texture or the metalic shine of the blade is part of the final texture as well?

  • @chafuldifornio3 It's all just one diffuse, one specular, and one normal map.

  • Wow, so nice!

I'd like to see your uv unwrap :D

  • @simonced Thanks. To see the unwrap follow the link in the desription.

  • Your normal maps, worked very nicely. What was the count for the high poly model?

  • @BravoBlanc Thanks. THe high poly was done using subdivision modifier, so it had as many as I liked :P

  • I just came. Most badass dagger ever.

  • Wow, that's a great idea with the specular mapping. Shinier where the finish has rubbed off!

  • amazing textures 5*

  • Wow, I just can't get my stuff to shine like that with just spec, I wonder if I'm doing something wrong. The normal is great! So just diffuse, spec, and normal, eh? Looks great, well done man!

  • Thanks. Just diff/norm/spec. Try using more than one light, I used like four to get the edge reflection right.

  • Please do a tutorial on this!? especially the how you used materials and procedural textures!

  • There are no procedural textures used here. The material is just standard low poly game normal/diffuse/specular combination.

  • I hope you don't mind if I share this with friends, I love it so much!

  • Very well done, love the spec... Is their a normal on there???

  • Thanks. Yes, there is.

  • Wow :)

    Great texture job

  • cool cant wait to see them

  • Dude u r awesome u need to do some tutorials man plz XD

  • I plan to, since I am using others tutorials all the time I should give some back to the community.

  • How many poly?

  • 1454 tris.
