If I was victor I would have held my head together with my hands then maybe there would a chance that my head would heal insted of letting it slide off but thats just me lol.
How this should have ended was with Michael beating Victor to a pulp and Selene dealing the final blow. Michael's character was never really shown in my opinion as being stronger than both species and in the 2nd movie I was looking for Michael to become the next leader of the Lycans and bringing the Vamps to terms that they are related/cousins. Instead we have him depending upon Selene like a lost puppy.
@archangel2467 Yeah, Michael didn't get to shine as much as he should have here. Though I don't think it is illogical that he lost. Michael was basically a "newborn" immortal here with no previous fighting experience, while Victor is not only a Vampire elder (with a stronger and more pure strain of the vampire virus) but has centuries of battle experience behind him. Michael was a newborn and he still made a veteran like Victor sweat for his victory. I say his hybrid powers are just fine.
@MrSilverspetz not to mention we find out that Victor had a piece of steel protecting his rib cage so Michael couldn't do as much damage as he should have

I love Viktor. All through the film the hybrid is hyped up to be some sort of badass, and sure...at first it kicks him around a bit but once he gets his second wind beating Michael down is almost effortless. One of Bills best roles.

Michael is now a Werepyre - a hybrid, a genetic fusion of both races. As far as we can see - he possesses the strengths of both races, and none of their weaknesses.
Viktor however is a more experienced fighter - having over a millenia of knowledge under his belt.
Another thing is that, unlike humans - the immortals do not grow weaker as they grow older - they become stronger.

Michael is now a Werepyre - a hybrid, a genetic fusion of both races. As far as we can see - he possesses the strengths of both races, and none of their weaknesses.
Viktor however is a more experienced fighter - having over a millenia of knowledge under his belt.
Another thing is that, unlike humans - the immortals do not grow weaker as they grow older - they become stronger.

@NicholasGeschke That is true, because ill asume that those were silver rounds in those guns and he kept getting up after being shot with them several times. Also in the following movie we see that he can also be in daylight, so with that being said, he doesnt have either of the weaknesses. Cant wait to see what happens in #4, we finally get a sequel to #2. YAY!

@PrometheuzReturns I think the third "elder" was Amelia. Remember in the first Underworld, Victor said that one elder is awake while the other two were asleep. Amelia was the only one awake, when Victor and Marcus were asleep, until Selene awakened Victor. IDK, that's just my theory!

You can´t really do shit about it, because it's his/her book, his/her fantasy.. and since it doesnt exist, there are no real life rules about it.. You cant say a normal horse has wings, but why could a unicorn not have wings?..

@ValiantArcher ... In a way there are no real life rules about fantasy creatures.. One can only assume that a fantasy creature that once was designed in a certain way, looks the way it was once designed.
I wrote a book once that had elves play a major part, but the elves hated bows, didn't have pointy ears, were just fucking ugly and were about two and a half meters long..
