"Holy War", Sound Barrier "Gladiator" (this will turn you into a shameless metal nerd!), Destruction "Eternal Ban", Krank "Rented Heat", Hallow's Eve "Lethal Tendencies", Cities "Burn Forever and Sodom "Deathlike Silence" (the black metal anthem!)!!!! And a few others, but these were my jams. My tape broke twice, was taped & still plays!

@Rettke Yep you re right..Maiden could not write a single good song...they need to listen to Omen for inspiration,these 3 notes of this intro is the reason Maiden released Seventh Son,Omen back then had the copyrights of these 3 notes,all other bands they were free to use the other 4 remaining notes,in fact Omen is a better band than Maiden,even better than Priest and Sabbath....they should be more famous than Michael Jackson, what an underrated band... OMG

@Rettke Which band got intro whom which? Omen's The Curse was released at '86 while Seventh Son was released 2 years later at '88. Besides don't sound the same just bit alike.

It's nice to see this here. Omen, in my opinion, was and is one of the more under appreciated bands in metal. J.D. Kimball had a powerful voice that fit the sound of the band perfectly.

Formed in 1983 one of the best underground epic/power/heavy metal bands. Their 3 first albums "Battle Cry" "Warning of Danger" "The Curse" are considered cult classics and i dont understand why a band like Omen remained in the underground. J.D. Kimball is considered by many one of the most charismatic voices in the Metal Scene. R.I.P.

Really? I knew my uncle was good, but I was unaware that people thought so highly of him. All I remember is that my dad told me that Omen accidentally left my uncle behind after they all got shit faced at some bar, and that he was fairly popular in Europe.
