Not guilty of this either, thankfully, but I've seen this being a big problem with many couples I know. Some people even get into relationships already thinking their partner will be perfect once they "help" them lose a certain habit or change something in their personality.
People tend to forget that not only do most people never change, if they do change, they're doing it for themselves.
And yes, sometimes people focus on things that aren't really important and refuse to see the big picture.
Thankfully, not guilty- but I can see where that can happen with people. I figure, and this may be the Aries North Node/11th house speaking, or the Mars in the first house conjunct Sun... but I figure that if I took him as he is, why would I want to change anything? It seems that if something changed about someone, it will be either regression or growth, this in itself is always subjective as well.. so if HE has a problem with my growth, or transformation, its gonna be a tough one. ;)
