  • Wow.

  • great interview. thank you Sifu Sergio for sharing.

  • Try latin women **busizz4me.info**

  • got shot, but survived, there's a ip man 2

  • got shot at the end by the japs

  • how did he die

  • @lastrosenfeld Throat cancer

  • Can anyone think of how ip man's other biu gee form might be used in a fighting application?

  • Ip Man was a good movie.

  • apparently sifu cliff was being considered for the role of WSL in the film; but because the producers were unable to acquire the rights to depict Bruce Lee fully from his descendants; the screenplay had to be rewritten so that it was at least 1 1/2 decades earlier when WSL was obviously much younger (and therefore unable to be played by Sifu Cliff :().

the plot was originally supposed to be mainly based on the relationship between Lee and Ip Man and the events that occurred around that time.

  • How it's spelled, Yip vs Ip, doesn't really matter. It's a bit difficult to translate from Chinese characters to the English Alphabet. Easiest example is how we try to spell Wing Chun/Ving Tsun. Already different.

Wing Chun's 1st form can be spelled Sui Nim Tao/Sil lim Tao/Siu Lim Tao etc. All spelled to try and match the sound made when pronounced in Chinese. How it's written in Chinese is the same though.

  • Yip or Ip, I always thought it depends on what dialect you're using. I assumed Mandarin's would be Yip, whereas Cantonese would be Ip. Just like how Wong Fei Hung is Cantonese, whereas it's Huang Fei Hong. They're pronounced differently, and you can hear it, but it's still the same person.

  • @fdesa12

Ip Man in Mandarin is pronounced Yeh Wun.

    It's really different lol

  • @Evil5partan lol yeah I found out when watching Ip Man 2 in Mandarin. I'll correct myself.

  • i fucken hate these ads i don't care about fedex ups none of that shit...

  • Wow the painting looks like a photograph!

  • Thanks for the video, Sifu Sergio. It was a nice interview with one of the pillars of the WSL lineage. As a student of Wan Kam Leung, another student of WSL, an interview would be interesting. He is located in Yau Ma Tai.

  • umm origonally his real name is yip man but they say ip man for a reason i have no i dear y

  • @2bueno4u lol i thought so it was yip man, when they said ip man it sounds werid and in chinese it clearly said yip not ip

  • he's called Yip Man

  • @VampireTheDead if you want to get technical it's actually prounounced Ip Man. But both ways are popular spellings.

  • dutch accent much ? lol

  • what is so funny OMG

  • Nice video, thanks for sharing!

  • its a picture not painting

  • that guy looks like tom green

  • Nice Interview ! Thanks !

I m a noob in Wing Chun . But , what was the difference in Biu Gee form ?

  • @linuxva what do you mean?

  • @linuxva Biu Gee is sometimes called "the emergency form". It is usually applied when you've already lost your structure from the first two forms and need to recover. Many schools don't teach it until the student has a good understanding of the first two forms so as to not confuse. At least that is my understanding of it.
