2. There were 10 clauses of the Civil Rights Act. Paul supported 9 of them. He did not support the privare property clause, because it violated the 4th Amendment.

@Lamborgini1118 Like it or not, those letters are relevant. Simply because someone has achieved great things in life doesn't mean they can't make mistakes or have bad ideas. If the newsletters bore his name, then voters should definitely consider them in their decision.

@veso5554 I agree, but they should also accept his answer when he has denied them for 20 years. If they don't I suggest they should hammer Nancy Pelosi over insider congressional trading. When 60 Minutes asked her about it she answered "its not true and that's that." 60 minutes did not follow up, and NOT A single other media source has asked her about it.
CURRENT insider trading fraud is more important than newsletters 20 years ago. If people accept Pelosi's answer, they should accept Paul's

@Lamborgini1118 Look, if you read "Who Rules America Now," by Dr. Domhoff of UC Santa Cruz, you will understand the elite porkers who comprise 1% of the US population but who own or control half the wealth in the country, including all the major news media, including CBS. Ron Paul is a populist threat to the financial-corporate insects who feed on the rest of us. This nation is in a pre-revolutionary mode, because 50% of the population is getting screwed by the elites, who should be nervous!

@bboucharde Don't get mad at every rich person because many of them worked for it and deserve it. A lot of them are awful, but many rich people are doctors and lawyers who help people every day. I want to be a doctor, and I will not be ashamed of my wealth (though I will be more willing to donate to charities). It sucks that so much wealth is kept to so few, but don't hate them all, just the ones who deserve it (like CEOs of sketchy companies like the Monsanto Corp.)

A doctor who earns $200,000 per year is not in that catergory, by far. Look for the super-rich on the corporate boards of big oil companies and firms like JP Morgan, Wells Fargo, BofA, Boeing, Lockheed-Martin, & Goldman-Sachs. These are the porkers who own the media, Congress, & the President.
