He also gave me new christian friends that weren't interested in getting high on drugs/alcohol. I dropped out from a sureno's gang out here in san jose california its a real big and old gang and i have been away from it for 4 years now but they know where i live and lately they been watching me i don't wanna get jumped out and its not because im scared but because i have seen other homies get put in a comma in the hospital for triying to get out and change their life and i don't want that shit happening to me can someone help me out give me tips??PLEASE EMAIL me galvanalex@ymail.com
In order to be able to help our loved one's first we gotz to help ourselves by making that decision... after that through prayer you can ask the lord to touch those around you and the best way is by being an example as an obedient child of god... but at the same time they have to be willing to open up to the lord and surrender their life to him just as we do... so it's all based on the law of free will... we can only lead by example... the rest we leave it between god and that person.
Too many people don't realize that god is all around us at all times... even in us for he made us so we are a part of GOD... so when ever we need him, want to get to know him, when ever you want to surrender your self to god it can be done that fast... is just a matter of making that decision... the biggest difference between god and satan is that god don't force anybody into anything and the darkside uses force into everything... free will is from god... so as soon as one decides it is done :-)

I'm not a gang member, but I have a brother who is/was. He just turned 41, and is locked up. My parents are both deceast and were apostolics. My 41 yr old, and two other brothers use meth. I don't have a relationship with them, but it's something I wish i had. I wish I had my family. I wish someone like you could speak to them. I feel that they need some guidance, and it can't come from me. Please pray for them. Where is your church located. We live in the 559 (fresno). Please help.
Honestly, it was one of the hardest things to do. But through a few things:
1) Prayer
2) Help from True Homies
3) Desire to want to change for my son
These were a few things that really helped. I began to understand that it was my life and not anybody elses. I needed a change. Not my homies, but me. I found a great church with opportunity and I seized the opportunity.

thanks for sharing your words, i was once into the "street life" like many other peeps when i was younger, been there done that, been locked up so many times i lost count, until one day i realized and "understand" what i was really doing was wasting my life and time. i grew up to see some of my friends became successful in life, while i was still a bum. now i am 31 years old and live the good life. God saves anyone, you must allow him save you if you want to change.

I'm not a gang member, but I have a brother who is/was. He just turned 41, and is locked up. My parents are both deceast and were apostolics. My 41 yr old, and two other brothers use meth. I don't have a relationship with them, but it's something I wish i had. I wish I had my family. I wish someone like you could speak to them. Honestly, it was one of the hardest things to do. But through a few things:
1) Prayer
2) Help from True Homies
3) Desire to want to change for my son
These were a few things that really helped. I began to understand that it was my life and not anybody elses. I needed a change. Not my homies, but me. I found a great church with opportunity and I seized the opportunity.
My advice to anybody is that when the opportunity comes knockin, to answer the door. God Bless!
