It's a certain skill set, and after years I'm still having a tough time. I'm in camp right now and still having a tough time. It's just not something that can be taught to everyone.

@IshyD2K9Blad the guy I would recommend is Jeff Trickey, he runs the best camp as far as teaching technique. If you want to learn the skill set as far as the mental aspect, the only real way is to play the position. The camps that I coach are in Virginia.

ok i'm sorry but this is stupid. you should be throwin with your hips anyways. there's really no difference in throwin a "deep pass" and throwin a "regular pass". sometimes you have to throw a 30-yrd pass with the same intensity/velocity as you throw a 65-yrd pass. with the longer throws you just have to throw it "higher" to get it out there

PS....most NFL quarterbacks don't throw anything farther than 60 yards on most plays anyway. It takes waaaay too long for a receiver to get open, exposing the QB to the pass rush, not to mention not too many NFL QBs are accurate when throwing over 60 yards anyways.

The only time you see something farther would be a hail mary play.
