  • I recently listened to this entire album in my car. What a great album. Every song was good!

  • JESUS, HOW MUCH BEATLES CRAP(Genius) DO YOU HAVE!?!?!?

  • I first watched these videos when you uploaded it. But I still watch them every now and then. You are giving much info without it being boring, humor and stuff. All the reviews are unique, you know what you are talking about. I have the stereo but want the mono too. Which cd's do you listen to more often? Mono or stereo? Another in dept comparison would be great, a big long video with much info, comparisons, talking, humor and playing from you. Thnx for taking the time to make these videos!

  • you look kinda like Deep roy

  • The best version of the song "Help!" is the 1993 Ron Furmanek remix with centered drums and vocals split wide.

  • @LanceHall Where is this version available?

  • I hope your daughter grows up to be a Beatles fan!

  • i laughed at the intermition xDDD

  • 4:10 Rutles reference?

  • Ya talked me into it so i picked up the '9RM of HELP!

    THANKS John

  • HAHAH clever intermission xD

  • gorgeous kid man.

  • are these the 87 stereo mixes or the 65 stereo mixes?

  • @frankmakak the stereo remasters are from the 87 mixes; the mono discs of "help" and "rubber soul" also contain the 65 stereo mixes.

  • @johnmontagnamusic Yeah, I bought the mono box when it came out, that's why I wondered because I never got to hear the stereo box. Thanks!

  • how old is ur daughter?

  • @Alien8990 just turned 2; she was about 16 months in the video.

  • more reviews

  • your babys cute

  • Please do a review on the Beatles Love albu

, no one's done one yet

  • by the way... your baby rules!!!

we need more beatards in the world XD

  • i'm looking forward remasters in LP XD

  • @0000song0000 Me too. Has anyone heard anything about those yet!?!?!?

  • HAHAHAHA great Help! style intermission.

  • theseanzer: haven't heard from apple yet. i think it's not a problem if it's considered "fair use," which means that it's only up for a few seconds and it's used in an "educational" context.

  • dude i have a question can u infringe on apples copyright by showing the logo and the cover of beatles albums on youtube vids.

  • help's my favorite beatles album

  • I was wondering why the White Album was much longer than the others. Having about 17 tracks on disc 1 and about 13 on disc 2. I was wondering why they decided to make the White Album so long. By the way I dont know why I asked this question on the Help! review.

  • @Jon52096 When The Beatles got back from India, they had too many songs written for one album. George Martin tried to get them to compress it into one album, but The Beatles refused. So it was released as a double LP.

  • Awesome, Loved the "end of intermision" . Great job

  • I bet you noticed, but maybe you didn't so I'll point it out. It's modeled after the intermission in the movie 'Help!' Pretty interesting. You didn't exactly spell it out, so, I thought I would for those who didn't know.

  • as I am some one whom has the original lp's in stereo and mono as well as all the 45's....

it's nice to see there are folks whom are starting to know how different they all are.

  • I wait for You man!!!! ThanX

  • Serious comedy chops John!!

  • yeah he's right about the help! 2009 remaster. it does sound better

  • 04:54 he's so CUTE! Love youre reviews man! AWESOME

  • shes so cute

  • damn dude!

you're fuckin' cool, i'm obsessed by the beatles n a lot of other old & new music for about 7 years now and i'm 22.

you're a very musical kinda guy with so good and open ears.

please keep bein' as you are,

  • I am digging your videos. I came across your page due to your Beatle reviews, and now I am digging your music and your bass playing.

  • 3:05 to 3:10, nice Help! parody...

  • There is also the original 1965 stereo mix which is only available on the mono box set. This is my preferred version of Help!

Great job with the reviews BTW

  • You're baby daughter is cute. :D

  • I dig these reviews. Check out my channel! I am doing my own series on the remastered set.

  • Does the new Stereo Remaster sound as good as the original vinyl?

  • Really great review, I will buy it (of course after the pink floyd japanese "oh by the way" box set). hilarious video. You have a beautiful baby.

  • Love the HELP score you fit in!

  • I don't know notice the difference in the sound quality. The new ones are just a little bit louder. Disappointed because I was expecting the same kind of improvement I heard on Love and Yellow Submarine Songtrack

  • I think the drums, acoustic, and bass sound a lot better on the stereo remastered than on the mono remastered version

  • Lol great man!

  • Love your vids, man. More more!

  • do any of your CDs have imperfections on the cases? like indents or anything? those really bug me

  • my help album has a little indent on the spine of the case. i dont mind it too much. the disc is most important, right? so dont worry yourself

  • Love the review, except one thing...

It took a while for the video to upload (or download). Could you give us a time frame on what album you will review next?

Well good luck reviewing and we always love hearing from you. peace. =D

  • Yayy! Another one! And it's getting better all the time.

I've learn so much with this vid. Good work. You are funny, and your baby is beautiful! (a beatlefan already, i assume)

  • Best one yet. You own as many copies of Help as I own of I Robot. Oh wait, I think I have 7!

Best review yet. Love the "betarded" history of the release. Next time any of you guys give us shit about our encyclopedic knowledge of all things Project, I'll remind everybody of this video.

When you get around to reviewing Abbey Road, don't forget to comment/review on the placement of "Her Majesty".

    Hugs to Jill and Francesca!

  • i have never, NEVER given anyone shit about being a superfan, 'cuz i am one!

  • I say the same as the others... MORE !!!!!!

  • yay for the intermission

  • Awesome John. Going to have to pick it up!

  • Great review, and nice editing! I was laughing at the camera angles you used, and Francesca is adorable! I'm glad you're letting her listen to all this great music :)

  • Hey John, Been enjoying your videos. Checked out your website too. GREAT music you're recording! I found you on myspace and sent you a request to add you as a friend.. Your little daughter is so cute. And ALREADY she's a Beatles fan!! You're raising her well...Take care!

  • I love all the homages to the movie. You're turning this into an art form.

  • LOVE this album. How do you feel about the songs not being remastered to where you hear all the sounds through both speakers? That's MY main beef with the new CDs. Otherwise, they're good. Great vid, and kudos for being a stay-at-home dad!

  • nice editing on the video and thanks man

  • Excellent. Instant sub

  • Awesome! :)
