  • i always pass here on my way from school

  • this needs to be brought to media attention again. I encourage the family to try to get on a show like 48 hours mystery. I think the bottle found at the scene is not what needs to be focused on. It could be from anybody, like if you were going to kill someone, would you bring a drink with you, only to leave it behind at the scene? Stick to the DNA found under her nails. Obviously, since it hasn't had a hit in the DNA database, this person is probably well connected and respected.

  • Nothing' s Gonna Change My Love For You.

  • Anyone see any suspicious bar patrons leaving Rudy's Bar on Friday the 3'rd of december 1998 ? possibly between 9: 15 and 9:30 -ish A group ? couple of rowdy rudies regulars ? newbie rudy patrons ?

Penny Sierra's death was resolved like 20 years after her death , she had a dad that fought hard and long for the killer, This student might not have that luxury

  • I see they tore down the resid. of Susanne on Park street, with the Police subsatation that was under it ,they built a nice structure there..still can't identify the lady detective with the daughters ,pretty sure but i need to positively identify them , That was about 2 - 3 girls who could resemble Susanne ( very) one that was shoplifting at Krauser/wawas

  • 99 % ,PD ,sorry but just saw the scraggly haired Det. ( female) who has a few daughters who were shoplifting in and around downtown - namely Krauzers/wawas on York street, a very strong possibility of resembling Miss JOVIN. Was Jovin filing a complaint in regards to false accusations ? She would always traverse past this Wawas, or always have to,,a cop who don't want anyone mentioning her ilk

  • Yale Daily News is fighting the case, they would get fired if they even mention it.. They will hold candle ceremonies and anniversaries..But the case is at a standstill due to VDW lawsuit. drag that out for years, top dog at yale is security chief also, another lady's husband takes ads out for servicing (mandingo way)

all of their kids walk about ..this corner is loaded with university property employs and contractors, fukin every gate at yale has baseheads loitering about

  • General Opinion now : 98% chance done by the NHPD and/or strong affiliates

  • Argument could have been between the van occupants , but you made a point -why there ? maybe a group that is not familiar with further on up the road, or familiar with East Rock Park -and it was warm so many..

BUT familiar with right there, it is not a densely populated area ,but it does have a bit of traffic from a farely new Newhallville section in the Highwood area of Hamden -with no access to 95/91

a girl telling everyone that she was going home- last seen headed that way,

  • good point trusty72.. but i do recall that this van was seen driving in the area also -like up Huntington St. -towards prospect -possibly seen in the park area

...maybe they tried to dump her in the park but to many folks out and about

It was a very warm nite -

That takes them back to downtown and just at what point was she "picked" up at?

and did anyone see this van (brown/tan)

    Downtown on the Friday Dec.3

  • a reason to interregate the girl could have been the soda bottle, "hey c'mere"

"what are you doing around here "?

    "any id "?

"what's this booze"? pour it out on her

  • been reading about this case. looks like if the van was found facing east, it must have come up prospect st and turned right.

question being: why would they have stopped THERE? drive north a little farther and you're at mill rock rd, more secluded area. drive just a bit east and you're at east rock park, completely secluded. in fact east rock rd is the only rd off prospect that leads to the park, yet they stop at an intersection in a dense residential area. makes no sense.

  • from Prospect -then down East Rock Rd.

To the stop sign at East Rock Rd and St.Ronan streets

at the stop sign is a park like vicinity on your left - maybe their designs were to dump her there ,at the park (rear of Yale Agricultural)

probably had a car behind them So they continued thru the intersection and pulled over -allowed the coast to be clear -dumped the body -maybe surprised that she was still breathing -stabbed her even more

  • i think you are right that they must have dumped the body -- the only explantion for why the body was found where it was. but when was she stabbed? if the intent was murder from the beginning, then she would have been stabbed right away, and no one would have heard an argument on e rock rd.

so she was alive (and unhurt?) all the way up to the intersection. yet prospect has many traffic lights, so she would have had an opportunity to escape unless heavily restrained.

  • ..when she starts yelling about "why are you doing this", or something to that effect (news reports) She sounds like she does NOT know her attacker Her next words were going to be

    "i don't even know you"

they did not lets those words out huh ?

sounds like she knew them ,but did'nt know them - police ? or posing as some.

Pick her upin the typical suspicious stroller category and take her for terrorization and for someone to identify her, raising her voice in defense to false accus.

  • Another sad disgusting tie in is the demand of B.B. volunt. to only participate with Union goombies, when they disobey the hatred knows no bounds. A PAC issue started at that Gate in and around the time of murder, this was a way to pay back the contribution and the way to get their foot in the door, major threats against seemingly non union folks who happen by,because of that finance

  • they are saying that the Murder "might not have taken place here" - lack of blood at the sight.- but ya never know, you can see the back of the Yale Agricultural station at the begin...They have a fellow student speaking to Susanne at about 9:25 - near elm/high st she says she is tired and going home after she drops off the keys to a vehicle of the Best Buddy program, they have somebody who saw her walking towards elm while exiting the gate on College st., they say she was empty handed,

  • but they found a soda bottle and a Yale mag.of some sort with her/near her. Some say she stopped at the P.O. at Elm and High and retrieved her mail, and then stopped to buy the soda, and then somewhere between the store and home she entered a vehicle, voluntarily or forced is unknown..why she would go to that locale is unknown The time frame at the area would be about 9:38 at the earliest -maybe- to 9:45 that she entered the vehicle downtown, is that a ten minute ride to East Rock ? close

  • Stores downtown they sat were never asked for the film, maybe days later and by then i guess they roll over and continue,so erased,so they say. A guy walking a dog a minute or two after 10 pm came across another guy who was at the scene, who said he/she arrived and spotted her at 9:58 pm on Dec.4, 1998, a van was seen in the area,a brown or possibly a tan van. A van that might have been painted so one leaked newspaper art.reported, changed the interior and painted it..sounds like a red hot case

  • i just googled "susanne jovin" - oh my , ya know there is some more stuff that the local rag never printed. They said at one time that the # 1 named suspect had a strong alibi, the online report says "No" ,that he went home late that nite, issues over DNA ,lie detector tests , all are twisted and distorted. a police artists rendit.of what the suspect might look like today is even more susp.why wait so long ? it looks like so many, maybe he ran into the woods and doubled back later, had an accom

  • In New Haven they have undercover vice/narc vans that patrol drug areas ,this girl was on Howe st.dropping off the B.B.vehicle,and walking - a possibility that the P.D .threw her in the van, A cop found her at 9:58, cops wear issued green that someone was running with on. See the timeframe above So many cops from that era have been incarcerated, heard investigative footsteps and retired,STILL in court, tip of the iceburg they say, local lawyers were howling that no one had money for them, of

  • politics of the day is an interesting subject They talk about Jewish/Muslim/Al Qaida angles

very very possible, extremely nast classmates and hangers on around campus at the time. Major movement in th epolitical arena, contributions, changing of the town chair

Our U.S.Rep moving into this neighborhood with a new husband from D.C. ,Gov't sec.provided, who was the Alder of the downtown ward? the two co-chairs of Yale's ward ? cops in awe and terror of the stud/admin and then found a top cop typ

  • but the remaining cops from the day have turned states evid.and continue their hooliginism. Remember back in the 80's on Greene st.? the elderly church home ? bombed viciously by a lawyer/zoning hoodlum, thrown out into the street, police backing, Advocate write-up. What they did to the church of St.Josephs is basically the same thing, brutal harrassment and robberies to shut it down and build, elderly and nuns are a soft target, you'd be so disgusted to find out they are "catholics", nasty p.d.inv

  • I live about two blocks away from this spot. It's really scary that a murder took place right near where I live!

  • Such a peaceful area. You wouldnt think a murder would have taken place there.
