Now yeah this may not be their style but I think thats exactly why they chose it. I like it alot, I think its awesome, and just something you would'nt expect. I've seen Poison live several times in Biloxi and New Orleans and got to meet Bret Michaels (C.C. just ran to the bus, speaking to no one) after a show in Biloxi, MS, about 1989 or so. I still have great pictures and Bret shook the hands of all who had stayed late to try to catch a glimpse of them and shooed away the bodyguards who were trying to chase us off. He stood on the steps of his tour bus with a small crowd gathered around and talked to us all, took pictures, shook hands-great guy!

I even saw them a few years ago on their Hollyweird tour in Birmingham, AL. That was funny b/c Bret's mics kept screwing up and he stopped the song twice and finally cussed the stagehands to hell and back until they brought him one that actually worked (3rd)! First time I saw them was opening for David Lee Roth in Huntsville, AL...amazing then too!

Exactly...the media gives little credit and publicity to hard rockers like Poison, Ratt, Crue, and such. But this music is basically classic in todays market, and many people are taking notice. while i love poison. i think you may be only referencing in america. The band arnt very well known in the UK, things picked up a little since they were on a few games but i doubt the band coiuld sell out arenas are big shows in this country. RATT even had to cancell there tour here because they could barely sell enough tickets to fill the shows they had booked...
