Aguilera was on the list of 100 greatest singers of all time. where was underwood? Aguilera was named voice of her generation...not underwood. They both have great voices and I love Carrie but when it comes to singing...I just like Christina more. the melismas are just the way she sings

@jeraldisme That's because Christina has been in the business for a little over ten years now whereas Carrie is only closing in on five! Carrie also has a 3.5 octave vocal range without having been formally trained whereas Christina required years of training to get where she is now! Carrie will soon be named voice of the century, just give it some time, she's still sorta new to the business;-))) I am not saying I hate Christina because I don't, however, I can only listen to her in small doses.

check out Jessica Simpsons' version, i love both versions, jessica's is more traditional while christina's is more soulful.. I would listen to this version on a lonely night if i needed a cry.. I would listen to Jessica's if i was on my way home to visit family
