Christians stole the concept of Satan and defaced him, gave him a bad name so that they could have a scapegoat. To believe in the real Satan is not to believe in the Christian god at all. when this album dropped in 1996, it was like a fucking bomb going off. i was there, i remember. almost every person i knew into heavy music was blown away by this song. It was just so epic, powerful and unique. totally futurustic. the dawning of a new breed of metal. then after that, Samael were never as relevant again. they just came and went.
