amen brother keep tryin to get this through to my daughter too our computer is in my room under password entry protection when shut off but kids today are sooooooo smart mine at 5yrs of age could calculate when she needed to be born to be over 18 and bypass any parental needed authorizations to get on restricted sites w/age limits
and i am not naive i know it will only be a matter of time before she figures out how to bypass my password protection though she is only now 11 she has already in the prior 2 years tried to break my password code via her knowledge of me as well as the clues for when one forgets so i keep them as vague and metaphorical as possible but soon she will find the only way to bypass it is to catch it and reconfigure when it is still in main frame mode before it reaches password requirement page

I watched this very informatonal video yesterday. (Thanks for posting) Last night I dreamed I was going through my son's videos to make sure I followed all your advice and as I watched one I saw my drivers licends next to him and it zoomed in on my personal information including my address..lol. I was paniced. I'm silly what can I say.

Unfortunately, there are a lot of predators out there, and our children are vulnerable. I agree with Roland, 13 is too young to have an account. Safety has to come first.
