So sad to see, I was there as a Ford VIP for this rally. Was gutted. If he had of stopped it in stage and saved the engine he could have restarted under Super Rally Rules and then as Loeb went out he could of one. But hindsight is a virtue. Sad to see him leave ford

and i really do hope the best for Jari Matti because i think Ford has pushed the wrong driver ;) i like both Mikko and Jari Matti but Latvala seems to be a better driver than Mikko

@ropy89 i totally agree and i have always been a fan of mikko but as a driver myself i know the politics not only in this last event but no one could not understand his lost of speed in the previous events...i honestly anticipated a move but i thought he would be replacing loeb not ogier knowing the cost to develop ogier and i thought loeb would race with vw and also compete a privateer to retain his title...by the way look out for new manufacturers coming peugoet, skoda, fiat, and a surprise.

I feel for Mikko, you can see he really wants this title, but you can't help asking yourself does he have it in him to take on Loeb? I personally don't think so. Ford should put all their focusses and resources intp Latvala next year. He's kicked Mikko's rear end a few times this year (and had to move over 3x) and I think he is now the only Finn that knows how to drive a WRC fast on tarmac as well. Perfect match for Loeb. We all know Latvala is the fastest on gravel presently.

@Burnout900012 The one fact that really made me upset was that Loeb retired later in the rally. Had Mikko just stayed in 5th place, he would've taken the championship
