I too love this song.

Kinda wonder if it's related to Silent Hill, though. I haven't played the games, but based on the movie, trying to hide from "the darkness" which is coming to get you and is signaled by sirens seems like too much for pure coincidence.

Not that it really matters, of course. The song rocks. :)
