the hellhounds have a story as well, one of the characters, Dr. Rictofen assisted with Dr. Maxis to test the zombies for the government project christened "The Giant" when Dr. Maxis used his daughter, Samantha's dog, Fluffy as a test subject for the teleporter, Maxis accidentally created the first hellhound, Fluffy, Rictofen trapped the Maxis' with Fluffy which is now a hellhound in an empty room, both were killed, Fluffy was pregnant, then gave birth to more hellhounds

Edward didnt exactly lock them in the room with the hell hound, as Dr Maxis ran into the teleporter after the Hell Hound was teleportered, he and his daughter somehow ended up in the teleporter and edward teleported them to the same place as the Hell Hound you notice this because you hear Dr Maxis yelling "Edward What are you doing?" at Edward and then edward saying "Goodbye Dr Maxis *Teleporter Noise* Hahahaha!"
