@scienceatheism organized religion can be manipulated. But these people were selling their bodies and not enjoying it. "God' was a way they could leave the industry and fulfill their lives. The baptism was a way for Nadia Styles to Cleanse herself. In the end it might all be fake...religions might all be lies created by men.. but spirituality may help these people.

@scienceatheism To counter your argument, I believe that for some atheists (Such as yourself I assume) use science as the only truth. Instead of a bible as the truth...it may be an encyclopedia. One book replacing another. You cannot see atoms yet they exist scientifically. The truth can always be altered because it is written by man. I too try to seek the truth. I haven't found it yet.

we dont only use science as truth we use history as well and also math which im horrible at haha. bible is just set in stone, its an absolute, when our world changes, our ethics and morals change but not the bible its forever. i just dont see how anything that never changes could be so accurate and truthful.

@scienceatheism I can't deny that. The Bible was put together by a group with an agenda, and left some parts out. Some that were left out mention Jesus as they only way to heaven. Some parts say that He is A way into heaven. Even the interpretation changes. i honestly sometimes don't know what to believe. Science too is hard to believe, all theories, like the big bang theory, Theory of evolution, We don't know the absolute truth because we were not there.

yes but it will forever be there. it will never change. i dont trust constituency because everybody would do anything to keep that. because constituency is comfortable it makes people feel safe. but to me i think the theories is something we can test over and over again apply it every day things, apply it to the universe, see if it fits. you also have to think about that, like could the things in the bible be applied to science, math, history? history maybe math and science idk.

I think the Pink Cross could reach out to more people if religion wasn't such a big part of it. A lot of people tune out when they start hearing talk about god and religion. There's enough good reasons to stop doing porn without the religious angle, but I've never been in the same shoes as these women, so maybe it works.

I am not so sure that by becoming a Christian makes someone a good person. However, I feel it is necessary to have some belief in the human soul. As we have seen in this video many of the women here eventually find that porn eats away at them. They have two choices, to either respect themselves or to let it (porn drugs etc) drag them down.
If believing in religion helps them through it then I am all for it!

It;s the same as if your parents tell you when you're a kid not to touch the oven. You're too young to understand...so if you touch it anyway, which it's your right to do...it will burn you. It doesn't mean your parents aren't loving parents. There's a price to pay for anything you do in life that's not right. You can shoot somebody if you want to, but you'll probably end up in jail. I'm not trying to "disprove" God, I'm simply saying if you don't live your life the "right" way, then you will burn in hell for all eternity. Am I wrong in this interpretation? If there is no Hell, then why would there be an incentive to live a life God's way if everyone got into Heaven? Personally, if Hell is the place you go to for sin, then why would it be bad? Why would the Devil punish you for sinning? Doesn't he want sin and promote it? Essentially he would be helping God if that were true

No, our belief is the devil is a fallen angel, that wants to deceive people so he can take them w/ him. It's not God's will, but people have the right to go there if they refuse Him. I can appreciate your desire to end the abuses associated with the porn industry, as well as the pain and suffering many of these girls experience. However, the overt proselytizing and evangelizing is a HUGE turn-off and only serves to alienate many people who might otherwise be interested in what you have to say. The message you are delivering is a worthy one, I would simply suggest a less polarizing approach. It's important to keep in mind that not everyone believes the same way you do.
