  • ESTO ES LO MEJOR

  • HC punk

  • punk hardcore suicide.(L)

  • The Untamed Youth much better ! :-))

  • this is crap

  • punk rock and hip hop were true art forms when they began, street music, fermenting on its own time, totally self sustained within the ppl who loved/made it, with there own culture, fashion (or anti-fashion), customs, code of ethics, and language.......until some A&R fucker got hip and cashed in. All good tings bloom and die quickly, but the shock waves insipre future generations.......brother!

  • This video is so fucking punk.

  • This is fucking awesome!

  • A great hardcore band turned greatest hip-hop group ever.

  • @MykeMetyll you don't know what hip hop is.. .stfu...

  • @Stryker37573

Who the fuck are you? Do you know me? I don't think so. Go talk shit somewhere else.

  • @MykeMetyll do you know what hip hop is? i don't think so. Go talk shit somewhere else

  • @Stryker37573

Yes, I do. I'm just confused why you think you know me.

  • @MykeMetyll i never wanted to "know you"

  • If you live in Indiana and you think theres no punk your dead wrong, I'll name off a few bands for you. Counteractive, Chaotic Nuetral, Indianapolis Forever, Iafrate, SubAtomic, The Frontline, Fear No Evil, , Track Nine. Those are just a few off the top of my head, but theres loads more. Add me on facebook (Rain Disgusting) if you want to know more about the scene, and check out diydojo.com, they host alot of hardcore shows.

  • No one ever believes that the beastie boys were punk. so i posted this on facebook and everyone shut up haha

  • yeah!!!!

  • they went from this to singing girls wow what a sad change

  • beastie boys are ridiculous. they made some of the best hip hop and they also made some of the best hardcore. this is more on the hardcore side in my opinion. hardcore is a sub-genre of punk. so calling it punk is still correct also, hardcore is just more specific. but just because the genre has evolved since the 80s doesn't mean this isn't hardcore anymore. that's like saying lil wayne is rap and wu-tang isn't anymore

  • To everyone this is punk not hardcore

  • @fuzz165 Hardcore is a sub-genre of punk, and this is definitely leaning more on the hardcore side than punk.

  • @fuzz165

You're an idiot. Hardcore was not the hardcore it is today. It was stemmed from late 70's punk. Minor Threat really lit the fire with what they called Hardcore Punk. Go read a book.

  • @typeanoise still punk and coming from the guy tht has some lame ass music on his/ her favs lol try actually listening to the BAND alpha & omega then come talk to me

  • @typeanoise and to say tht this band is hardcore just tht is not enough like you said yourself hardcore has changed hardcore punk i could agree with but just hardcore no

  • @fuzz165 fuck yeah dude

  • @fuzz165 To the dumbass. This is hardcore music. It began in the late 70's with black flag, battalion of saints, DOA, minor threat, and the beastie boys.

  • @rhcp212 to the dumbass things were already cleared up if you read farther.....

  • Whaaa?!?! Aha they totally sound like Rudimentary Peni. Tight

  • theres a secret, hidden thin line between oldschool hardcore and oldschool hip-hop...happy are those who find it and enjoy it!

  • play fast and loud!

  • MOTHERFUCKING HARD CORE 4 EVER

  • This was when ideas were shared, revolutionized, and not boxed into a category...

    I miss that.

  • Back in the day the hardcore punk scene aswell as the hiphop scene were conjoined in a way, you could even consider them to be Best of friends, They both felt the same way about society, Both spoke their minds,Both youthful, angry and loud.Hip hop became money hungry though and sold out to big corporations and actually I dare say "grew up".Punk on the other hand still stood its ground in the underground,Still loud still angry and still youthful. Punk is one stubborn motha fucka!!

  • @AliensexKitten000 WHat would you know, you are a fucking noob wanna be

  • @SocalDNM I sure I know more than you...hahahaha

  • @AliensexKitten000 love your comment dude!

  • @AliensexKitten000 Well, you can say that punk went mainstream as well, like Blink 182 and Green Day and all that shit, but I know that HC-punk is still alive. The soul of hip hop is still breathing underground, what you see on MTV is just a zombie. I like Murphy's Law and Sheer Terror, but still listen to Antipop Consortium and Cannibal Ox. I listen to everything that sounds good to my ears, genres don't mean jack to me.

  • 0:53 Smokin a fatass joint !!

  • PUUNNXXXX

  • 0:45 \ 48 ... very cute girl!

  • Beastie Boys and punk...Didn't see it coming but punk is the best so sound ever so its a helluva contribution.

  • @Chromeize I dont know if you ever heard of the band Bad Brains but it was a punk band back in the 80's and thats how Beastie Boys got their name hence the 2 B's. Bad Brains was a big influence on B. Boys!

  • I really don't care for hardcore, which made punk into something akin to Soviet tractor fiction, but, man, this is SO much better than the rap Sh*t they moved into.

  • @edesaute LOL are you kidding? I love punk and all, but the Beastie Boys made some of the best hip hop ever. they were revolutionary.

  • That's true American crap- who in the fuck would pay to listen to that shit! Tank kwu bery much.

  • BEASTIES FOR LIFE. THEY CAN DO ANYTHING

  • I sure hope those were girls pulling each others skirts up..

  • Effin Hilarious , hands down off th hook weetarted .

  • shit, Beastie boys should of stuck w/ Punk, this shit is badass

  • that was funny YEAHHHH

  • This is win

  • HOLY SNAPERS!!!!!

  • i like....

  • man where the fuck do all you assholes live?! come to chicago! hardcore is fuckn back! and with RiotFest in october holy fuck thats a lineup. Punk's only dead if you're dead. This shit is never goin away as long as im alive, and thats the fuckin truth! live fast never die.

  • @lineofaktion

this was filmed in the 80's....

punks not dead but you are a bit behind

  • @lineofaktion agreed i got to chi for shows like a couple times a year

  • @lineofaktion I'll tell you where... BROOKLYN!

  • @lineofaktion chicago punk scene......riiiight.

  • @lineofaktion Dude when is this so called RiotFest? Like what day in October??? I NEED to go to a punk show!

  • @lineofaktion so i went to riot fest one day last year in chi town. my buddy jc is like the circle jerks and bad religion are playing so im like kool i'll go. of course they both were good, but i remember when i was entering the place a fucking pig searched me and noticed in my button up shirt my snus tin wallet with wrinkled up cash inside. the prick then accuses me of being a drug dealer cuz of the way i carry my cash and i fucking get pissed and start yellin at the fucker and shit. i end up

  • @lineofaktion pt 2 walkin a way after getting threatened to be put in jail. he also took away my friend bb's knife and he couldnt get it back later. we then walked into the crowd and some pop band was playin. i remember yellin shit at them. and i remember seein a kind of hot chick and i started bullshitting with her. she looked like a punker but told me how much she loved blink and gaga. i ditched her fast. i also remember overpriced beer, push up pits, no riot, high security, people trying to

  • @lineofaktion pt 3 stop me from moshin like they do in certain parts of indiana, seein old friends here and there, circle jerks kickin ass, insulting a few scenesters, and havin some fun but bein pissed at the venue. watch out for security if you decide to go. and danzig with doyle and macabre are playin so i might go this year. i wouldnt call that show hardcore. ive been to some crazy shows thoughout indiana

  • @lineofaktion fuck yeah chicago hardcore is a fucking live and well. theres no fucking scene like what we have in chicago, cos we dont take shit! someone says punks dead we beat the fuck out of them.i got a fcking band thats gonna blow all the fucking naysayers to hell.we're bring hardcore back.but its not hardcore.we're fuckin skumpunk man. up the fuckin chicago punx!!

  • @lineofaktion im moving to chicago

  • @lineofaktion Punk's dead. Hardcore lives.

  • @lineofaktion Why do you say hardcore is "back"? I'm pretty sure it's always been around.

  • @lineofaktion garth brooks.... he's punk rock....

  • I have to agree wit mowhawk 1020 most "Psycho" these days is very cliche hardcore at least continues to evolve

  • The Young Aborigines. Thats what they were called xD

  • This reminds of my friend Jasper, haha, he's the only real punk I kow, Out of like the 1o left, Punk is dead.

  • I LOVE VINTAGE NYC!

  • Beastie boys should go hardcore punk all the way! (Y)

  • they were like 16 when they did this

  • this is real fucking punk!!

  • Comment removed

  • du bon vieu beasti boys

  • that ruled! who put that skateboard clip in there ? hahaha I wonder what pool that is...

  • Such a pity they don't play punk anymore. :(

  • the beastie boys should have kept this sound, i fucking ove this kind of music

  • Why was the previous comment marked down? They were fans of Bad Brains. That is why they gave themselves a name with the initials B.B. They even became friends and recorded together. And one of the Beasties produced a Bad Brains album.

  • btw Bad Brains was the biggest hardcore band in New York if you did not know.

  • bad brains were outta d.c., cuz u dont know

  • @lkjhgfdsa123able They formed in DC and moved to NY for a while. Remember the song "Banned In DC"? They were on the same comp with Beastie Boys called New York Thrash "cuz u dont know".

  • they were obsessed with the bad brains, beastie boys (B.B.- same initials)

  • Takes me back... way back

  • why did beastie boys change from punk to hip hop?

  • ever concidered of 2 band called beastie boys?

  • ?? same band with a few lineup changes!

  • beastie boys used to be punk before hip hop

  • yeah i kno the hardcore/punk beastie boys. never knew they turned hip-hop =/

  • Because hip hop promised money! and as we know it hip hop is soooo corrupt!! they threw big watches and jewelry to the beastie boys thats why they changed..haha fk the mainstream!

    punk is the real thing!

  • @otakupunk007 lol how old are you?

  • as for you what the fuck do you know? you dont even know what the fuck is a sell out. Even if you go google it you dont know.

  • @otakupunk007 yeah some record company saw a punk band and thought "maybe we should pay them to make some hip-hop, seeing as the genres are so similar," you fucking idiot.

  • haha u seriously think the genres are so similar.. haha thats funny everyone now wants to fit in to punk.. why?? back then punk was the most hated genre why the fuck does everyone think they know?? the real punk is different than any fkn mainstream garbage that hip hop has ever brought! who would you say is more loyal to it's genre?? you fkn dumb ass

  • YEAH MAN TOTALLY FUCK THE MAINSTREAM, FUCK SOCIETY, I LIVE ON THE FRINGES OF MY SUBURBAN NEIGHBORHOOD, I DON'T MOW THE LAWN CUZ' I'M NOT A SELLOUT

Shut up "otakupunk" they made music, they had fun, they do what they want like human beings, if you and me judge them nothing happens to their popularity because they made their niche in the world.

Also, hip hop doesn't insure the selling of records, even during the time of License to Ill, there are plenty of unsigned bands. Don't be stupid.

  • I know they make music they had fun, but what happend to it's real culture ignored, a fad in the life of them. punk is something else that only a few understand. As for some of the unsign hip hop artist those there are the ones that hold true to its stuff.

  • Punk is just a sub-culture you identify with. Just because an artist is mainstream or doesn't identify with your genre anymore doesn't make the artist a corporate drone.

Of course, that's not to say everybody making pop. music has a staunch commitment to their artistry, especially not today.

  • punk is not just a sub culture man.. shit. Look at everyone that is still in it! they're not putting they're face out there like known artist. some of them do cos some of them just dont care anymore. You ever heard of A//Political?? or CRASS? fkn crust? wayyyy too deeep! then you gota know street and then pop, then horror they all relate!!

  • oh and if you want good punk, stay away from crass and fuckin crusty shit. god damn.. its all about the dicks, and the germs and fuckin graves. horror is better than punk, fucking psychobilly is better than punk.

  • you really think so?

  • @zomebies all pyschobilly is these days are copies of the misfits and the cramps. No originality. If you think this is good then go watch your copybilly music and stay off of punk videos

  • @mohawk1020 Psychobilly people have their combs stuck in their asses.

The style is retarded. Punk will always win. always.

  • hahhaaha punk is gay. but are you saying that only a few people understand, and your one of them? theres over 6 billion people in this world. im not gonna be on to see your reply so why dont you send me a messge. or just on here to make yourself sound reeeealll dumb in front of all these people.

  • @ otakupunk007 - you seriously need to look up the word "sarcasm" next time you're holding a dictionary, you goddamned moron. Why am I still surprised at the depth that human stupidity can reach?

  • why can sarcasm affect even more? it doesnt matter? wtf?

  • lolwut?Has anyone really been far even as decided to use even go want to do look more like?

  • ok, guys, i admit my comment sounds too naive and even stupid but i didn't intend to offend anyone, i was just filled with some religious feelings and i wanted to express them, now i see this wasn't the right place to do that.

  • dude your so whipped...

  • Comment removed

  • I wanna take a massive shit on your head.

  • Me too!

  • fap worthy.

  • you are a fucking retard.

    go back to sunday school.

  • lol u said god>punk.

  • is these the same sho now sing just rap?

  • yep

  • jaja punk war ich auch ma ...

  • Punk and hip hop both express the same rebellious attitude. Going back to Blondie doing a rap song, and Sonic Youth did songs with Public Enemy and Cypress Hill. I like to think of hip hop as rock and roll that is too punk rock for guitars and singing.

  • What happened to the cat?

  • holy fuck their a good punk band :D

  • shame they didnt stay punk or at least still make punk songs, i like both their punk and hip hop music

  • they still do make some punk check out the entire aglio e olio ep , the song time for livin on check your head and lee majors come again on their upcoming album

  • dito

  • agreed

  • They played hardcore all throughout the 90s and they released a e.p. too called Aglio E Olio.

  • They should make another LP of 2nd wave punk like this. It would kick serious ass and prove to fans that a- they stay true to their roots and did not sell out, and b- they they don't just make rap.

Imagine if all, or even some of the old early 80s punk bands were still around, music these days might actually be good.

  • ha fuck yea backside air 1:06

  • a hardcore punk originality shows how much better old school rap like the Beastie Boys,Public Enemy,Cypruuss Hill etc. is to stuff like Kanye West and Lil Wayne on the radio.

'Cause the new school rap fans are 13 year old wannabe gangsters who call all rock 'emo'.Its a shame....it really is a shame.

  • @U2rock55 All I listen to is Underground Music, I can't stand half of this new shit, It seems like all you have to do to make a "cool" song these days is autotune yourself singing about money, and say Shaw-aw-aw-tay a million times.

  • @U2rock55

Lil' Jon grew up on hardcore punk. Hell fucking yeah!

  • @U2rock55 tru tru

  • @U2rock55 Totally right.

  • Their drummer was the drummer from Luscious jackson haha...that stupid 90's band...They were on the New york thrash compilation with the Nihilistics and Bad Brains and such. Keep in mind Slayer also began on Def Jam.

  • holy crap. when was this? and how the hell did the same band become a rap group?

  • This was the early 80's. The became a rap group after they recorded a rap song called "Cooky Puss" as a joke, about a time when they prank called an ice cream factory. "Cooky Puss" became popular, Def Jam heard it and got them to make the album "License To Ill". The rest is history!

  • theyll never be this good again

  • whatttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttt ded he side?

  • theyve changed so much, i still like them now, but this is at their best

  • TABS PLZ!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • damn this is full of fucking spam

  • God damn they were so fucking young hahaha

  • Well, they were about 16 about the time, so there you go. :)

  • I know that, Im just saying it.

  • I LOVE BEASTIE BOYS

  • i love this song!

  • reminds me of battalion of saints or other early US 80's hardcore. good shit

  • 95% of teens would cry if they saw the Jonas Brothers period.

  • hahah no shit man

  • @rockonzep I would cry too!! But mostly because of the retardation of human progress, and the dumbing down of the music industry.
