I don't have much of an opinion on Lady Gaga. She has a couple decent songs, but it's all very produced. After seeing her on 60 Minutes I think she's just an average Jersey Shore sloot who's ego has gotten way out of control. But I don't hold it against her or anything.
I do respect that Katy Perry seems to have made a decision to just go with her musical talent, and she is pretty good. I'm becoming more of a fan as she differentiates from the fame whore types.

@bradnaldinho and that's what performance artists do. (Look up Elana Mann, she's a great performance artist). In all honestly, I have a great dislike today. Especially rap and commercial pop. And yes, Gaga is commerical pop, but it has a meaning. And clearly, music critics (the only ones truly able to judge one's talent) are also noting her talent. Gaga isn't like Christina Aguilera or Kesha who get naked for no reason. If Gaga is razy or provocative, it's for a reason. It's artistic. I can bet

2) Matt Bellamy shits all over Gaga in singing and piano, and the piano isn't even his first choice of instrument so don't give me shes the only talented singer of this generation.
