Great series guys! A few tips if you're still on the road: you probably figured out you can park at most any WalMart or KMart. Here's an alt. to that canned chicken: After 10pm at WalMart the roasted chickens drop from $5 to $2 each. If that's too late for eating, you can put it in the fridge to eat for lunch or your next dinner. So does the RV seem too small for both of you?
Thanks for the tip! The only reason we're staying away from SPAM is because it's really high in sodium. Honestly, though, the chicken isn't that bad! ;-)
There are many Great Value products that I buy and would trust. Salmon is not one of them. When I come to can meats I like a brand name. You guys are brave. This is coming from a guy who likes SPAM. A quick cheap meal would be to buy a can of SPAM and a bag of Great Value Hash browns (the cubed kind, not shredded). Cut the SPAM to the cube size of the hash brown potato. Brown both together in a pan and you've got a great dish.
