This was by far one of the toughest and saddest interviews for McCain to date.

McCain was not only defensive and contradicted himself many times over, but he also showed that he is in a serious state of denial when faced with poll results. The really sad part is that he will probably lose his Senate seat come re-election time. Palin will probably wind up on Fox News, on the other hand, McCain's political career is fast coming to a close.

These complaints of the McCain about not spreading the wealth around is such a load of crap. He totally supports this idea but the big difference is it's spread UP. The rich get the majority of the money while everyone else is feed a few tax rebate checks once in awhile to keep them bottom feeding in the delusion of becoming well-off.

If you're talking about the bailout, then yes you could make the argument that he's spreading the wealth "up" but that was a bi-partisan effort that included the Democrats. If you think that "spreading the wealth up" means not increasing taxes on the rich, well that doesn't make any sense.

It means that the GOP keeps the majority of people stuck paying the bulk of the taxes while the wealthy reap the benefits.

This goes down to their fundamental philosophy that by giving the money to the rich it will then trickle down to society. Name a country in this world that has "successful" used this tactic. You can't name one!

The key is building around the middle class who are striving for wealth, not just centering on the people that have already created wealth.
