@trey1177 Colors was Probably the first all around good sonic game for a while it wasn't hated on at all really. The game play blends 2d and 3d, but leans toward 2d play. it also introduces wisp power-ups which are each really fun to test out, it combines platforming, and speeding around quite well. And the story is classic Eggman tries to harness helpless creatures for energy. Sonic saves the day.

Adventure 1&2, Heroes, 06, and Unleashed, all have final music that makes you feel like you're epically saving the world. But in Secret Rings and Black Knight, the final battle music is more personal. They exclusively tell you "there's the boss, NOW KICK HIS ASS!" They are fights for redemption, really.

@Shradow115 I have numerous times. And if you never played Black Knight or at least seen a full walkthrough/playthrough/Let's Play, you shouldn't judge. IGN's points are unbelievably biased and it's best these days to not trust reviewers completely. I once typed that in and what came up was "if it ain't broke, fix it anyway". The reason to change it is because it gets boring. How does something break down? Overuse. Using the same formula for too long makes it monotonous and boring. At least IMO.
