if you get hurt...  is possibly that you're not playing with the correct technique,

@nwzhg Daniel is right. You can risk damaging yourself if you keep playing something in a way it's not meant to be played. Try looking at the piece in a different way.

Amazing technique and interpretation. I have Mr van Veen's recording of this piece as well, it's my favourite of all rendition of Mad Rush. Well done!

This is a beautiful rendition. I'm a novice pianist, and I learned this song rather quickly. Its a bit easy because your hands aren't moving around constantly.

I am also interested by how van Veen does not use the pedal during the really fast part at 2:55. In many other renditions (including Philip Glass'), I noticed that this part is played sustained.

Pedal or no pedal, this piece rocks!
