Amazing technique and interpretation. I have Mr van Veen's recording of this piece as well, it's my favourite of all rendition of Mad Rush. Well done!
This is a beautiful rendition. I'm a novice pianist, and I learned this song rather quickly. Its a bit easy because your hands aren't moving around constantly.
I am also interested by how van Veen does not use the pedal during the really fast part at 2:55. In many other renditions (including Philip Glass'), I noticed that this part is played sustained.
What would be the rating of difficulty of this piece to learn? (Expert), (Advanced), (Intermediate), (Easy)?? I want to learn this by ear by October.

I love this piece to bits..
but my arms get soo tired in the high speed parts, they tend to hurt.
